Bill Mauldin did a cartoon of a Liberty Ship unloading it’s cargo of food supplies to the USSR in WWII. The confused Russians are studying their Russian-English translation book trying to figure out what MAZOLA and SPAM is.
Me? I like SPAM. Made many a meal out of it at the hooch in Thailand (1969). The annex was closer than the chow hall by several miles.
Very good fried in butter and served with eggs up.
