-—Ted Cruz has one choice, and one choice only....endorse Donald J. Trump for POTUS today!!! If he does not, and opts to stay on the sidelines...he is finished politically in the Republican Party!!! -—

True only if Trump wins...

If Trump doesn’t win his position will have been validated...

The only thing Cruz validated is that I will not vote for him in two years.

I believe Cruz will wait until after the first debate, to see how Trump does. If Trump does reasonably well, he’ll jump on board. If Trump does poorly, he’ll continue to wait.

This is close. I think it’ll be the morning following one of the debates. This is how Trump always does big endorsements.

The time for Cruz to honor the pledge was right after he dropped out of the race. Even endorsing as late as the convention would have satisfied most Republicans.

Of course, it’s now a matter of recrd that Oily Felito did the exact opposite, by telling the assembled convention goers to, “vote your conscience”.

And now that we’re on the cusp of the debates, people are making noise about his endorsement — as if it even matters now. It doesn’t. Not even a little bit.

“If he does not, and opts to stay on the sidelines...he is finished politically in the Republican Party!”

Ted is already dead to most Republican voters. It really doesn’t matter what he does or does not do, at this point. He’s already made his bed, and now he must lie in it.

Since Cruz refused to support the party’s candidate for president then he shouldn’t be in the party.

Let him run as the democrap he is.

“If he doesn’t, as long as there is recorded US history, he will be known as the politician who self-destructed because he didn’t have the integrity to honor the pledge he made.”

I’m in the camp that considers Cruz has already passed the deadline to deliver a sincere and believable endorsement. That deadline came and went at the convention.

Any endorsement from Ted, at this point, is a day late and a dollar short.

Sorry, Ted. You blew it. Buh bye now.

This will ruin Trump. Just like Beck and George H., Kasich and Graham have ruined Trump. Ha ha.
Actually, it has the opposite effect. People tend to dislike a sore loser even more than they did before. Plus people who were more neutral start to question the sore loser’s motives.

To tell you the truth, I had forgotten about this yutz. Trump doesn’t need anything from Cruz the snake, so Ted can slither on back to Texas or wherever.

Balls in a vise, eh Ted?

Well, boychik, YOU PUT THEM THERE. You outsmarted yourself with your utter arrogance (and I used to LIKE you, I donated to your campaign when you first declared, and I’ve voted for you for Senate).

If you’re real sweet, maybe Mr. Trump will let you remove them.

-—What Trump supporter will vote for Cruz for anything in the future?
Tell us. We would like to know.——

If you aren’t a Texan, you and every Trump supporter including myself with an opinion about Cruz is completely meaningless, concerning his future as a senate republican...

If Abbott or maybe Perry runs for his job, he’s toast...

Besides that, he will easily win in Texas...

You think Texans will wholly blame Cruz if Trump loses and put a democrat in office..

That’s simply not reality...

CDS is curable...

You live in an alternate reality.

Cruz’s poll numbers are way down in Texas.
Why are his poll numbers down in Texas?

That’s why he is going to have some challengers.

Let’s see how many votes Trump gets in Texas in November.

Poll numbers are a snap shot of the moment...

So they are currently meaningless...

Between now and the Cruz reelection cycle is an political eternity...

Time will tell...

You are right. Polls are snapshots in time.

Why then has Cruz’s poll numbers dropped in Texas after he refused to
endorse Trump at the convention?

Cruz’s poll numbers dropped dramatically after he refused to endorse Trump. There is a reason Cruz’s numbers have dropped.

Cruz’s endorsement is purely self serving. I believe he lost a lot of political capital during his campaign for a variety of reasons. To me Cruz exposed himself for all to see that he wasn’t what he had been carefully billed to be.

Looking ahead Cruz’s Trump endorsement has more to do with his 2018 re-election that being a Republican team player.

Besides no one knows who you vote for in the General Election....I’d take bets his ballot isn’t checked for Trump!
