Who cares about the law?

If powerful people decide its an impediment to getting what they want, it can be dispensed with.

And there is no constitutional requirement for voters to pick the electors.

Under the Constitution, states can change the rule and it would be perfectly legal.

And no law says that a democrat has to be in the election. The are still several candidates from several parties. There is no precdence to delay or suspend the election if Clintoon drops out..

Okay, so Congress selects a new President. Stewart Dougherty's argument here is not that Obama will remain in office, it is that the election will be suspended (postponed). This gives them the opportunity to bypass the American people and keep Trump from taking over as President.

Thus the pilfering of America continues unabated.

I for one am not so quick to dismiss this as conspiracy. We actually will not have to wait very long to see if this plays out or not. So I for one will remain neutral for now. If it does come to pass, then we know we are being played (which for me feels like the case). If it doesn't then we know it was the BS you believe it to be.
