Chuck Todd: ‘Anti-Intellectualism’ Has Taken Over the GOP
Breitbart video ^

Posted on 09/08/2016 5:15:16 AM PDT by Sir Napsalot

Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Chuck Todd, the moderator of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” quipped that “anti-intellectualism” had taken over the Republican Party.

(snip)

“Anti-intellectualism,” Todd said, “that’s what’s taken over the party. It’s almost this, you know, there’s almost this disdain with some in Trump world that are like, ‘Yeah OK, so the college educated crowd isn’t for it. There’s almost a disdain that they’re embracing about this. But it is hurting the party. It’s going to hurt the party down the road.”

I believe people are very tired of media attacks against conservatives by personalities such as Chuck Todd, who parade as journalists when they are actually members of the Democratic party. Most Conservatives are very educated people, who look at facts and not fiction when they are considering the future of their nation. They look at logic, rationality, morality, corruption, character and, historical precedent set by nations from the beginning of recorded history. We know what the consequences are to the direction America is going today, not just for this nation, but for the world. Are you tired of being accused of being beneath the Chuck Todd’s and in addition being accused of racism, bigotry and hate, because you love your country and want justice for the rich and powerful the same as it would be for others? What is happening in the far left media is simply that they are an arm of the government and have not been watch dogs for a long time. Expect much more of this and do not be surprised over any kind of corruption which comes and which will not be investigated. At this point Donald Trump is not sunk in the muck and mire of a government which seems to so corrupt that it may have politicized the FBI. The Military, it looks to me, is the only part of government now that we can respect and believe in. Who knows what could happen to it if we, the people, do not change things at those polls this fall. Has corruption instilled itself there, too? I suppose we will see.

We had a local election here recently where one of the candidates insisted she be called Doctor so and so. Her doctorate was from a virtual college and was in education.

I have a thing about people who are not in the sciences or medical profession introducing themselves as Doctor whatever. So I voted for her opponent who unfortunately lost.

FEMA used to have a guy who headed up one of their regional offices on the west coast. He was another one of these guys with his nose in the air always calling himself Doctor so and so. Unfortunate for him, his position required a security clearance and it was determined he did not have a doctorate, in fact, he barely made it out of undergraduate school. He was forced out and entered a plea agreement for filing a false statement.....too bad for him that Comey was not running that one or he would have been cited for not intentionally filing a false statement I guess.

I was watching Jeopardy last night. It was celebrity jeopardy. One actor, one major media news editor, and one reportorette.

The actor won. The other two were so woefully overmatched by a script reader it was embarrassing.

I said to my wife had one of the categories been anything about the democrat party or democrats in general, either one of the losers would have run the category I am sure.

Depends on you definition of ‘intellectualism’

Maybe if the ‘intellectuals’ were not treasonous Leftards, determined to undermine decency and tradition, we'd like them better.

As it stands, I'd like see substantial portions of the faculties of most major universities hanged from the nearest streetlights, starting with any teachers of ethnic, gender, or ‘queer’ studies.

It appears that Chuck Todd never finished a 4 year degree at GW. A college dropout is telling us that we are anti intellectuals:

Chuck Todd facts on timeline:
Born in Miami, Florida
1972
8th of December

He was from an upper middle-class family. He was born as Charles David Todd in Miami, Florida, United States of America, to Lois Cheri and Stephen Randolph Todd. He received his formal education form Miami Killian Senior High School.

He received his formal education form Miami Killian Senior High School. He was also enrolled at George Washington University and studied there for four years. However, he was not able to complete his education form there. He was there till 1994.

What we don’t need is more elitist professional politicians. Just look at the mess of everything around us that the so-called “intellectuals” have wrought. The country is in shambles thanks to them.

Chuckie Boy: If you are SOOOOOO concerned about uninformed, uneducated people voting, I have a proposal: A simple, 6th Grade level competency test required for anyone wanting to vote in an election.....surely you’d be in favor of that, correct?

Actually I know the answer: Democrats DEPEND on stupid people voting to maintain their power.

The so-called intellectuals have NOT done such a stellar job with the Republican party — except for themselves.

They have been willing for decades to take 2nd place just to stay close to the power and money troughs.

Of course, the Dems have their own problems with so-called intellectuals. Obama hasn’t been that great and the next one in line on the Dem side has done so great either.

What does Chuck Todd know about being an intellectual? An intellectual is someone who thinks and has an independent mind. All Chuck Todd does is regurgitate Democrat, politically-correct talking points.

There isn’t one original thought that comes out of his mouth. Trump raises interesting, provocative questions. But Chuck Todd’s mind is so constricted by the same BS we’ve been subjected to for oh-so-many years, no wonder he has to fall back the first cliche that permeates his brain.

Well Chuck we thought we’d try anti-intellectualism since it seems to have worked so well for you.

“Todd attended George Washington University from 1990 to 1994. He majored in political science and minored in music, but did not graduate.”

Also guess your opinion wouldn’t be influenced by your wife or anything like that would it?

“Todd resides in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife, Kristian Denny Todd, and their two children. She is a communications professional and co-founder of Maverick Strategies and Mail, which provides direct mail and consulting services for Democratic candidates and progressive causes.[17][18] She was the spokesperson for the successful U.S. Senate campaign of Senator Jim Webb.[19]
