Wednesday on MSNBCs Morning Joe, Chuck Todd, the moderator of NBCs Meet the Press, quipped that anti-intellectualism had taken over the Republican Party.
(snip)
Anti-intellectualism, Todd said, thats whats taken over the party. Its almost this, you know, theres almost this disdain with some in Trump world that are like, Yeah OK, so the college educated crowd isnt for it. Theres almost a disdain that theyre embracing about this. But it is hurting the party. Its going to hurt the party down the road.

Nothing intellectual about releasing deportable criminal aliens to murder, rape and rob Americans.
Sorry,
... gap-toothed hillbillies without the pre-approved college diploma/degrees.
Only womyn gender study or anti-whitey Ivy Leaguers, in Todd’s view, are the pinnacles of Intellectualism.
Chucky considers himself to be an intellectual?
Who knew?
Guess they are no longer just racists. Now they are stupid racists.
Pray America wakes
You proles just don’t know that it’s good for you to abandon the rule of law and surrender your country to fraudulently documented foreigners with double digit IQs.
The only party that is anti-intellectual is democrats! They need mindless zombies to vote for them!
The Vichy GOPe do twist and spin, don’t they?
It’s not ‘anti-intellectualism’. It’s being fed up with liars and spinless mouth-breeders doing whatever they feel necessary to keep their pig noses in the gov and special interest feed troughs while baring their backsides to serve as pleasure sumps for the destructionist left.
The GOPe is fail. Pure. Plain. Simple. Fail.
Oh, and Todd is an intellectual? What a laugh that is. I’ve seen him - he reads with his lips moving.
You have to understand: “smart people” like Chuck Todd and aged helmet-haired crone Anna Wintour aren’t concerned with security lapses by sending classified information in open channels, trading official favors for money, destroying subpoenaed documents, hard drives and cell phones, repeatedly lying in public and under oath. No, they are bothered by people who have to scrimp and save to pay for those who don’t, who defend the peace, and who don’t spend zillions on some “fashion”. Of course, my question for ex-Democratic staffer Chuck Todd would be “if you are so superior, why are you so fat?”
Excuse me F Chuck Todd, but wasn’t that what “Hope and Change” and the election of a community organizer all about?
The term “Intellectual” is used in this context to demean and marginalize all other thinking people...
Non-Ivy league degree? You’re a rube.....not a progressive or globalist, unenlightened.....
Intellectual used to be a good term referencing a thinking man with a well grounded set of morals....
Now corrupted by elitists on both sides of the aisle, it’s represented by an arrogant Ivy-League diminutive trust-baby pr*ck......
Intellectual: One who has been educated beyond the level of his intelligence.
I don’t recall Tim Russert going on other shows and speaking like a paid hack from one of the parties. He wouldn’t damage is own credibility as a journalist so openly, even if he had an opinion that one party was better than the other. Maybe that’s why people respected him. Chuck Todd on the other hand is a disgrace. Might as well be Debbie Blabbermouth Shultz hosting meet the press. But we expected as much when they gave him the job.
Todd did not even graduate from college.
And Faux-Intellectualism has taken over the Democrats.
Trump is the voice of pure, naked logic. That’s what liberals hate.
Criminality abetted by propagandists has taken over the republic.
The pseudo intellectuals, i assume Chuck thinks he is an intellectual???, always have difficulty with this concept. Its not anti-intellectualism it’s anti bull s#it.
Anyhow, given a choice between smart, which Chuck doesn’t seem to be, or intellectuals, which are often book smart people who think they are superior to everyone else ..i’ll take smart almost everytime.
Trump is smart.
Hillary is a psycho.
Chuck is the drummer in a garage band.
My thoughts exactly! Chuck Todd is h so concerned about the Republican Party.
