The first debate should confirm or debunk the claim that Hillary Clinton is seriously ill
wordpress ^ | August 25, 2016 | Dan from Squirrel Hill

There have been claims by Hillary Clinton opponents that she has at least one serious medical condition that could impact her ability to serve as President. Clinton says the claims are false.

I currently do not take sides on this issue. However, once the first debate airs, I will pick a side, based on what she does or does not do at the debate.

Bet they install a grab bar on her podium.

"If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses?"
--Jeremiah 12:5a
in more specific military terms appropriate to that era:
"if you cannot contend with the foot soldiers, what the hell are you gonna do against the armored cavalry divisions?"

Hillary could be in real serious straights by September 15...

If Hillary displays symptoms of ill health at the debate it will hurt her candidacy, and imply that the “rumored” health problems are true. But no way could you conclude that the absence of obvious symptoms during a two hour debate prove she is in sufficiently good health for the presidency.

Clinton will pull out all the stops, as will the “moderators” and news networks covering the event. The debate will be organized, staged and filmed to her advantage. Clinton will have the questions in advance. They will cut away if she coughs or stumbles, edit the video, and do anything to make her look good.

My incredibly valuable free advice for Trump: Negotiate the terms of engagement to require the toughest physical situation possible. The candidates need to be shown walking in, standing for long periods, etc., with no podiums, desks, or chairs to lean on. There should be no breaks. If Hillary refuses, publicize the refusal. Insist on having a set of questions announced before the debate rather than let moderators cheat and play gotcha.

Forget her health, I’m hoping Trump points out in that first debate how she should be in JAIL and that he talks about how incredibly outrageous it is for someone to be not only above the law like this, but incredibly allowed to run for PRESIDENT!

Here here. If Trump says something like "You belong in Jail!" it would be a deer in the headlights moment.

I think people betting on a Hillary collapse in the debates will be disappointed. She did debates during the primaries and handled an 1 hr long speech at the DNC. She has practiced her bit all her life and she can do recite it on autopilot. Trump is not much of a debater. He will call her names and Hillary will demagogue Trump and rope-a-dope. The Hillary people and MSM will say she won and Trump people will say he won. I just don’t think it be a game changer either way.

Make it start out with an obstacle course like “American Gladiators.”

How Hillary does at the debates will depend on many factors.
First.... that she actually shows up.
Second... how much they can medicate her to prevent coughing etc.

Both parties will be required to submit a blood sample drawn in the green room by a qualified professional medical person.

Agree 100%. BTW, that would be “Hear, hear”.

She’ll be busy saving millions of women in Africa at the time of the debate, so she’ll send in a surrogate to stand in for her. The MSM will praise her skill at delegating tasks... and of course will praise her for saving millions of women in Africa.

You are correct of course, but as Andrew Jackson said

It's a damn poor mind that can only think of one way to spell a word.

Didn’t Clint Eastwood do the empty chair debate a while back?

That's easy to resolve in this day and age. A simple tiny receiver fitted in her ear as small as an hearing aid. Then someone will use an off stage transmitter to feed her answers and provide prompting as well as psychological support.

The Trump team will jam any signals. She won't hear anything but static.

It seems that every time she has dared to venture out into public she’s had some sort of malfunction, from major to minor. No press conferences, 4-5 day work weeks.
You may be right, but the chances are just as good, I think, that she *screws the pooch* as badly as Cruz at the convention. Maybe they’ll have her doped like a race horse.

I wonder what the Vegas odds are on Hillary vibrating off the stage or going catatonic. I did a search but guess I need the Tony Soprano web site.

Not Sure, but when George did it, it was on NATIONAL TV, and the Incumbent DA that refused to show LOST BIG TIME!

Exactly! And I have no doubt whatsoever he will say that to totally mess with her head. She’s going to be in front of millions of people, no hiding, and he is going to reduce her to a pile of babbling mush. This is a guy who has been dealing with people all his life, he knows every trick in the book to get the upper hand, she is toast. THAT is if she even agrees to debate him. I still have trouble believing she will. My brother had a thought: That she is so depraved that she will do something to Bill or Chelsea to send them to the hospital in a coma so she can play the “bereaved wife/mother” and claim she needs to be by their bedside at all time. Something like that is going to happen or a terror attack will happen, something is going to go down so she doesn’t have to debate him.

That's wishful thinking. I doubt they will even suspect she might do something like that.

I too find it surprising. I do not believe she is at all up to it. She is not used to people talking back to her.

I will not be surprised if something happens to postpone or cancel it, but I would be surprised if it were something such as your brother has suggested.

I think people are way too distracted by this health issue whatever it is. Given doctors, drugs and her millions I believe she will be OK for the debates. Always assume your opponent will be healthy enough to attack you and go from there.

Well she did handle her Acceptance speech at the Convention.....course she had the floor and it was all pre-written...but she stood the test of “time”.
