George W. Bush has been very quiet so far this year. He has not offered any political opinions, one way or the other. That is in keeping with tradition. Traditionally, ex-presidents have kept out of politics.
But 2016 is not a typical year. If Hillary wins, there simply will be no more Republican presidents. Unrestricted immigration will see to that.
So W, do your country one last service. Endorse Donald Trump for president.
Rove invented “compassionate conservatism” as a faux shell for GWB but he was conventional mainstream republican.
He can’t stand Trump and would love to make him fail because of hoe Trump walked over Jeb.
The brand he cares about is not conservative republicanism.
They had a lot more involvement in what happened on 9-11 than Saddam Hussein did.
The Saudi's are no friends to America. I thought everyone had become aware of that.
I agree.
It’s his responsibility to put the voters before the donors.
To show it can be done.
W’s behavior at the memorial for the slain Dallas police officers was embarrassing for everyone.
Swaying and grinning during the Battle Hymn of the Republic. He acted drunk.
If the Bushes are going to stay butt-hurt over Senor Tippytoes paying millions of dollars for three delegates, Trump doesn’t need his support.
America could sure use some help from a demented Hillary Clinton, but these Uniparty members have always been about “#1”. I can’t believe I had his framed photo on my wall a long time ago, ten years.
Let's leave him that way.
George has been negligent in upholding his sworn oath of office ever since.
Basically Saddam played chicken with Dubya over WMDs and lost. Its Saddams fault for what happened. In retrospect, maybe we shouldn’t had invaded Iraq. But that’s for a different thread some another time. Yes, the Saudi Royal Family is filled with sneqky SOBs who hates the West. But I don’t want to overthrow them. We learned from our debacle in Iraq, didn’t we?
Bush endorsing clinton might push her over the edge into the rubber room.
Hasn’t everyone given up on the bushies?
He should keep his mouth shut and go down to to the family compound in Uruguay. I think that if the bushies were smart, they’d shelter in their DUMBs in South Ameica until the smoke clears.
The bushies want world government and the police state just like all the establishment tyrants. He doesn’t care about peasants.
It would've actually made more sense than invading Iraq since most of the terrorist were from there and they're the ones funding the building of mosques here. They are only our friends because we buy their oil & provide a deterrent against Iran. I think we should work to be energy independent so we wouldn't have to worry about invading or fighting any of their sorry Godless hellholes.
One of the most disastrous administrations and you want him on trumps side? That will cause a guaranteed loss. Stay away George you’ve destroyed America enough.
As someone who voted for both G.W.B. and his father, I concur. You CANNOT allow this Clinton to become President, not ever and especially after Obama. We will be finished.
Do what is right, Mr. President. Your nephew, Jeb’s own son, did so. Follow his lead.
Dubya should have defended the Iraq war more; if he doesn’t do that, then I doubt if he’d come out for Trump. I don’t mind our actions in Iraq and have defended it. But Dubya rarely does.
Fortunately due to fracking, we are on our way to being energy independent.
W is a big proponent of unending and ever-increasing mass Democrat-importing immigration. He could have led a fight for conservative immigration reform after 9-11, but instead did the opposite. He’s worthless on the issue.
W just needs to sit the f down and shut up.
Let's overthrow them and install Hillary as King. Everyone gets what they want and or deserve.
No thanks to our government. Hopefully Trump can win so we can achieve that goal.
Over the weekend, George P endorsed Trump and called on Republicans to unite behind him. No word from his dad or “41” or “43.”
Frankly, I find that disgraceful on the part of 2 former GOP presidents and a former GOP governor. Lots of people didn’t support them in their primaries, but once they got the nomination, almost all Rs fell in line behind them. Now I feel like an idiot for doing that.
