I don’t know that it was the deciding factor but there is actually polling evidence to support his assertions. The leave margin went up 1-4 or so percent after Obama leaves, and the number that disapproved of a presidential intervention was around 70 or 80 percent. You do have to wonder sometimes if he really wants Clinton to win.

Obama think’s himself a suave, smooth player... he just never got called by the white guilt liberals for his actions... combined with an anger at the Neocons, and a horrible candidate in 2012... He think’s he’s a grand politician, reality is, he’s pathetically bad.
He’s done lots of damage because no one called him on his actions, but when it came to actually politicing, he’s one of the worst if not the worst in my lifetime.. he never was able to get anything done if he didn’t have control of congress... other than fiat nonsense that was unconstitutional. Reid ran interference for him... he never politiced his way to anything.

0bama has a very poor track record when it comes to endorsing and/or campaigning for anyone but himself. Some how Clinton thinks that pointing out all the foreigners who don’t like Trump will hurt him, but I think it will actually help him, since few people want a bunch of foreigners sticking their noses into our election.
