Do you know the definition of Clear Mandate?

“a command or authorization to act in a particular way on a public issue given by the electorate to its representative”

As is clearly evidenced by the voting public, he won, both in votes, and in delegates, which will continue to mount up. Note that the electorate selected him, not the representatives.

Those "elected" officials who boldly claim they will not support Trump in November should identified, isolated, targeted and dealt with.

What a great way to shove 20 to 30 percent of the party away from your candidate.

There are a lot of candidates who think they were treated unfairly. If you walk down that road you open yourself up. If you refuse to support their candidate they will refuse to support you. What he was trying to accomplish by saying that is beyond me. All he did was open a new gash that must be healed if he wants to win. If you want to be part of a political party then you can’t straddle the fence like he did.

Once they make that stand, they are no longer party members in good standing.

What good are party officials who refuse to support their party's standardbearer?

Answer? None.

The butthurt crowd needs to grow up and face reality or leave the dirty work of getting a candidate elected to those who give a damn about the country.

The enemy of your enemy is your friend.

If Hillary is not your enemy then you are not a Republican, you are not a member of the NRA, and you are most definitely not a conservative. She has publicly declared all-of-the-above to her enemies.

Trump has led a hostile takeover of “their” party on behalf of the voters and GOP establishment types don’t like it. Many would be happier with Hillary winning. That way they can stay in power, use the threat of Hillary and a Democrat Congress to blackmail conservatives to vote for them, and blame the loss on Trump and his supporters. They like the status quo. They like power and the money it brings them. They don’t actually care about conservative issues, and really would love to have amnesty. Conservative issues are just a product they sell us at election time, enacting them is a secondary goal at best.

Well.... these same GOP establishment crapweasels were the ones demanding that The Donald take a pledge to support the nominee.

So I’d say that their treachery and hypocrisy is of an especially fine vintage and we should savor it, as we plot defenestrating every one of them.

This is not the time. Many who elected Republicans who disagree with Trump need to wait to the convention or beyond. Some Republicans don’t want to give their opponents fodder until they have to.

I understand your point.
I will also point out that the GOAL is to elect a Republican of our choosing Donald Trump.
No other goal is worthy of our time and effort at this point.

Had it been Cruz or Kasich, I would feel the same way. At that point I would have held my nose, and voted Republican...LOL

All you delicate flowers make me want to puke. Grieve? Screw you. Ted is alive and kicking. He lost the vote of the people and he suspended his losing campaign. Grief is for people who are suffering from a death, not for weiners who lost a freaking primary election. Acting like you are grieving diminshes people who actually have a real reason for grief.

I swear, people around here act like whiney leftists who need a damn safe space. Grow up.

Here, have a crying towel. You can wash it yourself after you get done wiping up the snot.

It was a contest. Someone wins and someone loses. Nobody died. Freakin Ted is 45 years old and he has time to come back like a man and win in the future.

This has become sickening.

History...Saint Abraham wasn’t even on the presidential ticket for the election of 1860 in several Southern states. At least there may be a choice for us.

I understand what you’re saying. I’m a Cruz supporter, but no matter what reservation I have about Trump I am willing to vote for him because I believe he can’t be worse than Hillary or Sanders. He, at least, LOVES this country and wants to see it succeed. Hillary Clinton wants to destroy America. Bernie Sanders wants a socialist utopia - which only guarantees misery for EVERYONE.

I’m a Cruz supporter...but I’ll be voting for Trump in November.

I have been here long enough to remember the "Broken Glass Republicans" who vowed to crawl on their hands and knees through broken glass to elect a Republican to office.

We now how a sizable contingent of Snowflake Freepers who seek a safe place to lick their wounds and hide from the Big Bad Wolf Donald.

What a pathetic spectacle.

Look at it this way: Many elected Democrats will not come out support Clinton for a while because they live in very liberal districts that support Sanders. Same thing here, just on the other side.

Why is your guy and Kasich still going after delegates behind the scenes? Numerous reports on this.
