His voter registration states that he is. He has all but sown up the Republican nomination by delegate numbers and he ran in the Republican primaries, and won.
He is a Republican.

Well he is about to wrap up the Grand Old Party nomination for President of the
United States of America. On January 20, 2017 Mr. Trump will be called Mr. President.
