Thank you for the documentation demonstrating that Cruz in no way supported BLM, contrary to the continual mis-characterizations of the Trump people.

FRC PRAISES CRUZ DE-REG PLANS TAKING GOVERNMENT OUT OF RELIGION
America’s Christian bakers and florists and wedding planners will be safe under a Ted Cruz presidency. “I am absolutely convinced in my discussions with the senator that religious liberty will be a lot better off in America with a Cruz administration,” Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council and Chair of Cruz’s Religious Liberty Advisory Council emphsized when endorsing Cruz. These are the policies that he is going to pursue,” Perkins announced. “He is absolutely committed to the issue of religious liberty.”
The council was calling on Cruz to direct a review of the IRS’ treatment of religious organizations and to direct federal agencies to respect the free exercise of religion. Cruz said he will Defend and protect small business owners facing assault for refusing to violate their religious beliefs. “ Rescind Executive Order 13672 – an order that requires certain federal contractors to not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity; - Direct all federal agencies to stop interpreting “sex” to include “sexual orientation” and/or “gender identity.” - Direct the Department of Health and Human Services to eliminate its requirement that all employers include coverage for all FDA-approved contraceptive methods and sterilization procedures;. “As president, I have pledged on my first day in office to rescind every single one of President Obama’s unconstitutional executive actions, and to direct every federal agency to respect and protect the religious liberty of every American.,This was the Cruz response to the claim of running for pastor ridicule made by the Trump campaign which does not seem to realize there is a war declared on religious values by the Godless democrats..

I am a Trump supporter, but I will give Cruz his due on religious freedom issues, and for his undoubted skill as a lawyer.

Thank you! I will also be voting for Trump, but I am disgusted by both the anti-Trump attacks and anti-Cruz attacks that have become rampant on FR. Both candidates are good choices in different ways. Trump can win on the first ballot, and Cruz cannot. Since I do not trust the GOP establishment if the convention voting gets to a second ballot, I would like to see Trump win with 1237 or more bound delegates.

I can support Trump without claiming things about Cruz that are untrue or so far out of context that they are deceptive. Cruz is a constitutional conservative, and a good one, but not as strong a candidate as Trump. Trump is a strong candidate who promises to do what needs to be done on immigration, on national defense, on the Second Amendment, and on Obamacare. Trump has been reasonably consistent on the key issues for five years, which some people think is not a coincidence, since that is when he started talking more seriously about running for president. I think it is more likely that Trump solidified his positions on those issues as they became important in his career plans.

Pointing our and proving that you are a liar is not slobbering over anyone.

A big difference between you and me is that if I discover something I thought, believed, or said to be incorrect, I correct it. I don’t keep repeating it. The first time, you might have deserved the benefit of the doubt.

Now, you have no excuse. But when you are exposed as a liar and fraud, you simply resort to banal insults. Nothing wrong with banal insults when they fit. But as an excuse to lie, they don’t work.

If you cannot make your case for Trump being the superior candidate using logic and reason, rather than insults and lies, then you have ZERO credibility. NOTHING you say matters or counts.

So put on your big boy pants and own up to what you are doing. Otherwise, expect to be exposed as a fraud.

Yeah, unfortunately the forum has become full of dishonest debaters like napscoordinator.

But, regardless of whether the lies are directed at Cruz or Trump or some other person campaigning as a conservative, I think they need to be exposed. (Or even liberals, since the winning strategy is to expose them with truth and not lies.)

There are plenty of reasons to critique almost any candidate. It isn’t necessary to lie about them.

I could argue all day on how Trump has strong points that beat Cruz. I could do the opposite. Both have pros and cons. I lean toward Cruz because he is better in what I feel is the unbiased, objective view of a complete conservative (me). I am prepared to change my views based on evidence. But lies weaken the case of those using them.

“Cruz is having a bad night. You have next Tuesday to feel depressed and in despair as well.”

Sorry to disappoint you, but I have been too busy working to worry over Cruz. And I have NO depression. But even if I did, I know you are a liar and your pretended concern is as phony as you are.

When you got caught in a repeated lie, you just want to change the subject and distract with goofy comments about me.

“You hate pro trump threads.”

See, you keep proving how dishonest you are. If Trump wins the 1237, I will be happy for him.

My posts are not anti-Trump. I have simply been defending the truth. Trump does not need lies to prop up his campaign. He needs supporters who can make a case honestly, based on facts and reason, not lies and hatred.

If Trump keeps on message, instead of resorting to name calling and pettiness, he still may get 1237. But if he does not, he risks coming under and having to cut deals to get the nomination. And there is still the slight chance he does not get it.

And Trump needs to earn it. It should not just be handed over because he’s the Donald, any more than Yeb should automatically win because he’s the next in line in the Bush dynasty.

The Trump proponents say he has used the right strategy because he is ahead. Wrong. He should have walked away with it. And he is going to be up against a much tougher battle in the general if he gets the nomination.

Cruz and Trump are human beings with flaws like every human being. But I can live with either. I am more concerned about defeating Hillary and Obama than whether Cruz or Trump gets the nomination. If you really do support Trump and conservatism, you should share the same concern.
