Anyone know what happened to the site this morning? A DDOS attack perhaps?

The server was up; I was able to ping the IP. I suspect the webserver or database was just hanging.

The blank screen is what we’d have without the !st Amendment. We must admit that “technical glitches” can be conveniently “made to happen.”

I thought it was just on this end until after a good while had gone by I tried the TCP addy and got no response, then I went to “http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/freerepublic.com.html"; and they reported it was down all over.
