(Vanity) Can Slick Teddie break 10% in the New York primary?
vanity | April 12, 2016 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Now that the Colorado Disaster has begun to enlighten more people about the character of Slick Teddie Cruz and his willingness to do the GOPe's bidding, he is fading quickly in New York State Connecticut and Pennsylvania. This raises a questions: Since Cruz is at 14% now and that poll was done before word of the Colorado Disaster had hit, can Cruz break double figures in New York? What will Limbaugh Levin and Stabby the Clown say when their pal flops? After all they are all in a lather about how "Trump's momentum has stopped"laughably citing his big WIN without voters in Colorado. So when the votes are counted will Slick Teddie be at 10% in New York?

I’m still hoping for a Trump + Cruz ticket, although “long shot” would be a generous way to describe that right now.

I don't think it's that long a shot. The campaign rhetoric may have very little to do with how the two of them feel and a lot more to do with motivating voters and volunteers. If it's not Trump-Cruz (or Cruz-Trump!), I expect the winner to at least have the support of the loser. They both know how to make deals, and there are a lot of really good options in that respect, including Supreme Court Justice Ted Cruz.

I’m conservative.
I lived in NY during 9/11.
I was offended and I still am.
There were lots of conservatives in NY.
Don’t be bigoted.

I’m in AZ and voted against Cruz and convinced many people not to as well.

I think Cruz will get above 15% in NY, but stay under the 20% threshold.

That seems likely. But look for him to break 20% in certain congressional districts, and for Kasich to do so in some others.

Cruz hits the reality wall on April 19th. After that its all downhill. He will be figuring out his exit strategy as calls for him to GTFO escalate quickly.

Maybe, although according to some of the later polls, even that won’t happen. May be a total shut out of St. Ted.

You are right. I am sick that I once supported
that cheating, ObamaTRADE supporting,
utterly endless false-accusing, piece of slime
who hopefully has just ended his political career.

Cruz is lucky to be elected in Canada after this.

well if I say bribe I would get a cruz voter saying prove it, but they know it goes on and there is no way me sitting here can prove it.
So it is best to say influence, but we all know what that means.

Let’s assume for a very brief moment that Trump’s people are right about the establishment stopping Trump. That is actually half right because they do want to stop both Trump and Cruz.

What was Ted expected to do? Should he have not showed up? Should he have not worked to earn the delegates for himself?

You said earlier today:
"Last night cruz was giving a speech and all he talked about was Trump.
the man is infatuated with Trump and never talks about the issues."

I listened to Cruz on Hannity tonight, and he sounded deranged. I used to be a Cruz supporter, and was always upset that he didn't get more time in the debates. Now I know that was his saving grace, because now that he can talk more I can't stand the guy. He was not only constantly talking about Trump on Hannity he was actually accusing Trump of personally being behind the threats of violence being made to Colorado delegates and GOP members. Every time Hannity tried to get Cruz to talk policy, Cruz would go off on some tirade against Trump. Heidi wasn't much better later on in the evening, evasive when answering questions and also piling on Trump. I'm sick of it, and really disappointed. I was hoping for a Trump/Cruz alliance.

There are 858 still available delegates
Trump needs 482 delegates or roughly 56%
Cruz needs 692 delegates were 80% of the delegates remaining

First let me say Hi Larry and Texcajun
Those who are so sure Slick Teddie will get “between 15- 20%” or some other idea picked out of the air ought to keep in mind that going back months no poll has ever had Slick Teddie at or above 20% in NYS. Now that he has been caught cheating again there is no chance of 20% and BTW will you experts on New York politics please name the single CD Cruz wins or qualifies for delegates in? The most important Republican county in New York is Staten Island where even two Democrat County Committeemen have publicly formed Democrats for Trump. Next is Erie county where Carl Paladino and Cong. Chris Collins will swing the race big toward Trump. Slick Teddie gets shut out eliminated and becomes an embarrassment for his GOPe masters next Tuesday end of story. Wednesday afternoon the calls for Cruz to get out start.

Well then...you obviously have liberal tendencies, are shallow, and are unprincipled. I don’t know how I come off as bigoted..if you look at the map (yes I know there are exceptions to the rule) in liberal havens like the North East, Trump does very well...or in the case of South Carolina, there are enough “angry” and unprincipled folks who “the hell with the constitution and specifics” voted Trump. Now look, does Trump scare the hell out of me? YES! Does his inability to speak specifics bother me? YES! Do I think that he will treat our founding documents with the same level of contempt as BHO because it is more politically expedient to do so? YES! Do I think that he is as big a fraud as BHO? YES I DO! Do I believe that his lack of knowledge and inferior campaign strategy has him in the situation he is in (i.e. Colorado)? Yes I do...if he knew as much about the primary process state to state as he knows about bankruptcy laws he’d be golden right now. All of that said, I would vote for Trump over Hillary because he is absolutely the lesser of two evils. Im not a “Never Trump” type, and while his detractors are MANY, I will not sit it out as a non-vote is a vote for the opposition...and I cant go for that.
