FULL Disclosure: I'm not a Cruz supporter, but I hate this kind of sleaze and I'm hoping that we can put this to rest before it gets submitted 500 times.
The entire article is based off of the threat from a hoax "Anonymous" account on Twitter, which later turned out to be a RickRoll (all related tweets have since been deleted). I am pretty sure the "details" are actually lifted from replies to the original tweet, LOL. Since they're deleted, I can't be sure. Point being, it was all a hoax and there's nothing there at all, and that's what the article is based off of.
Anyway, just wanted to put it out there that it's typical NE trash, not one of their once-per-decade real bombshells.

The possible Amanda Carpenter connection is getting a lot of attention on Twitter. Someone Tweeted that she has been AWOL today. Inquiring minds ....... Also, the ‘lollipop’ Tweeted by Diamond and Silk, and the candy hooker is interesting. Connection?
Conservative Treehouse does make a couple of interesting points in their story:

In all fairness they probably have/will run a ton of stories from every woman who batted an eyelash at Donald Trump too. I saw one today on Salon that was hilarious, woman who went on one date with him, and complains about literally every single thing that happened, 40 years later. Bitter, party of one? LOL
Compared to me, Ted Cruz is very handsome. And I have had women flirt at me at work.
A lot of women go for high-status men. Cruz would have had no shortage of female interest. Plus he had a long period where he was in Texas and wife was on East Coast, which would put a strain on most marriages.

Okay...based upon my short excursion into the bowels of the inerwebs..the information that Ben Shales of GQ has said that it was Jef Roe that ordered the Ad picture of Melania on the rug shows that primarily, that bit of information is being bantered about on twitter. I have yet to find the original source for the information. It is good to know that there are a lot of engaged folks beyond FR out there... If I find anything else I will report back..
But on first blush the question needs to be asked. Did Jeff Roe order the picture and then hand it off to Liz Maier? Collusion? Ban Shales did not say that Liz Maier ordered he photo. That would put this who baby to rest then, wouldn’t it.
The thing is... everyone can relate to a womanizer. If you are like me, you’ve had some great friends who were womanizers.
I don’t begrudge them at all, I loved watching them in action. And don’t kid yourself, the women loved it too, they would fawn over these guys just as much.
What most folks despise, is a public preacher and a private pervert.
I don’t know. They usually have pretty good sources and don’t forget they had the Charlie Sheen story before anyone else.
Yep. ‘Anonymous’ said they had the same on Cruz and now this comes out. I’m thinking someone wanted to be compensated.

Tales of women won't affect Trump that much. He's made no secret that he's slept with a bunch.
An affair WILL affect "squeaky-clean" Cruz's image. Many of his supporters came to him BECAUSE they cannot tolerate supporting any candidate with any history of immorality.
I have thought for about three weeks that there was something wrong with him. My “gift” is “discerning spirits”. There is a phoniness and plasticity to cruz that absolutely creeps me out. When I found out about his anointing as “Messiah “ in the Seven Mountain Dominionist” cult , it began to sink in. Like Beck, Cruz is a total KOOK!!I think he is finished .
