Meanwhile back in the US, jobs have become so technical that a HS grad doesn't qualify for your average manufacturing job (read the article posted). What is the government's response? You would think loans and support for technical schools- not everyone is college material. But the government's response is college education for everyone under the umbrella of jobs and opportunity but in reality fed loan program is to prop up bloated University budgets. The result is huge college loan debt for worthless social science majors which US Universities are cranking out to support inflated budgets.
To make matters worse, the government counts these majors as STEM grads (really, the government does this) and publishes that STEM majors are having a hard time finding jobs in their fields. THE SOLUTION, blame trade!!!!
Don’tcha just love free trade? The job that employed your neighbor with 4 kids who attends church with you and graduated from the same college you did...now employs some Asian peasant with one spoiled boy in a Communist dictatorship and with the difference in wages going to pay for Oscar Onepercenter’s second yacht.
The Information Revolution has left even more people behind than the Industrial Revolution. Google is the greatest job-killer in American history - replacing millions of white collar workers who used to be paid to sit around and "know stuff." As companies completed their process automation in the 2000's, reusable software libraries replaced the high-wage knowledge workers that had helped build them at an even faster rate.
Beyond that, more jobs have been destroyed by labor unions, the EPA, and the IRS than by all the trade deals ever signed.
Our problems are partially self-inflicted. Perhaps we will break through to a time when few people have to work at all, and new machines will produce goods and services for most people virtually free. But I think te world has reached the end of the Era of Mass Employment, and the adjustment ahead will be even more difficult for heavily populated countries like China and India than for us. That's why the elites want to kill off 90% of us, somehow.
I agree. Take the sorry education system, lack of motivation, expected handouts from $100 plus tennis shoes to I phones, and no phys ed. These kids plus far to many adults are morbidly obese. Our education system was once the envy of the world. Both China and Japan make us look bad. I sat in an ER last month and was surrounded by 300-450 pounders. UNREAL.
China and Japan are well up on top of the list from the US - which ranks somewhere around 35th in math & science - if reading/writing English were measured worldwide, the US would likely still come in at the bottom middle - as for history - the US is likely at the very bottom.
Russians learns English/ Chinese learn English ... the US learns Spanish ... do we need to say more?
For Christians it is a symbol of the Holy Spirit and for Americans it is the torch for Freedom (Statue of Liberty flame).
We need a spiritual revival and repentance of the abominations which God hates especially pre-born genocide which He does not forgive on the national level. Delaying the wrath is the only option. Consequences are invasion and conquest. Thing is, it’s a worldwide practice. Only 5 or 6 nations are smart enough to make it totally illegal.

China is in the process of collapsing economically, no matter what we do. What we need is to be ready for a depression in China — it’s too big to bail out, even for a mainstream cronyist. (Plus, a depression in China is dangerous because it’s so politically unstable.)
Here's another news bulletin for you. A piece of paper does not an educated person make. So you can quit being so impressed with yourself. Second, while the west was busy inventing every bit of technology these H1B workers are being brought in for they were busy wiping their ass with their bare hands.
Trump is wrong with his protectionist tariff ideas but it simply won't matter because we will no have a country to protect if we don't stop the hordes of foreigners coming into the US both legally and illegally.

Actually the original “logo” was the fish. The cross is fine, too, but I like the empty tomb. Hard to make a logo from that though. I like the flame/dove since we are in the era of witnessing through the power of the Spirit. Can’t wait till the Messiah rules. I wonder what His crest will look like. Do you think it will have a rod of iron incorporated in it?
The first step is to accept the Lord Jesus as one’s Lord and Savior and to ask forgiveness for one’s sin’s. In other words come to Jesus. Go to Romans 8:28-” since God is for us who can be against us.” I believe the real work for me is to be a better Christian each day.
