The Democrats should beg Michael Bloomberg to come in as a third Party candidate
Coach is Right ^ | 2/9/16 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

On hearing that Michael Bloomberg, the former Mayor of New York City, is considering running as a third Party candidate the first thought that comes to the minds of conservatives is “Good. That will be the final nail in the Democrats’ coffin.”

While that is very likely true, there is potential danger for America in a Bloomberg candidacy.

If they haven’t already done so, the Democrat Establishment will have to have the behind closed, locked guarded doors talk they have dreaded for months. Whatever they might have hoped and wished for, the reality of their situation is that they are on a fast track to nominating either a Communist disguised as a Socialist or a woman on her way to prison.

In either case they will suffer a near fifty state wipeout that, regardless of the predictions of the “experts” will result in losses not pickups in the House and Senate. Even the Democrat voter fraud machine can’t help them if the current enthusiasm rate of 70/50 in favor of Republicans holds. Moreover, Trump attracts a large number of “new or returning” voters who will vote Republican to help give Trump the tools he needs to...

Bloomberg is only going to draw centrist Democrat votes.

Bloomberg is posturing. He isn’t going to jump in.

They should then beg Rimshot Joe Biden to come in as a fourth party candidate.

Regardless if they run Hillary, Bernie, Bloomy or Hitler, the rats start out with 200+ electoral votes before the first Republican votes come in.

No, Trump can win New York, New Jersey and maybe Massachusetts.

I agree. Bloomie would do to Clinton what Perot did to Bush and Dole.

It would be sweet payback for a Republican to win POTUS with a “Clintonian plurality”

The headline of this post is as ignorant a headline as I have seen.

Bloomberg entering ensures that any nominated Republican would win.

I think you’re overestimating the strength of Trump in NY, and NJ.

There are so many dyed in the wool demoocRATS who would vote for Killery no matter what she has done.

They will not vote for Trump or any other republican for that matter. I would be very surprised if Trump wins NY and or NJ. I’m not saying it is impossible, just very unlikely.

A Bloomie ploy could throw the selection to the House of Representatives with no one getting enough electoral votes.

How many states do you believe Bloomberg might win.

3 or 4 by my estimate, and I doubt that many. Not enough to cause it going to the House.

In any case, the headline remains among the most ignorant I have ever seen here. It makes me question the intelligence of the source.

Something ‘interesting’ going on here in Virginia.

Bloomberg virtually ‘bought’ the top 3 spots (Gov/Lt Gov/AG) for the Libs - plus whoever bankrolled that clown that ran as a Libertarian - so bad even the Libertarians had nothing good to say about him.

Bloomy got his ‘top 3’ and spent beau-coup bucks on gun control issues and the Clown AG ended up withdrawing the reciprocity Concealed Carry deals with 25 states.

Eventually McAuliffe overturned it (in return for some other restrictions).

Understand that Bloomberg is now going after McAuliffe and his cohorts..

Just hope he (McA) doesn’t fold and give in to the ‘threat’.

However I was ‘afraid’ that once McA parts of the deal were signed he would eventually back out on his end of the deal.

(GEE one would think I didn’t ‘trust’ Libs) (you be correct)

Might not be all that ‘cut and dried’ Rudy J won handily and then Bloomberg (a LIB if there ever was one) DECLARED himself a Republican and beat a ‘crowded’ field though he did shift to I for the 2nd half of his term.
