Brats. Steeping away in kraut and beer. Snacky things are actually pretty healthy, stuff from Graze.

The local grocery store had a good sale on snacks this week. I have Chex mix, Garadello mix, potato and tortilla chips and I am not even having a party.

Sounds good, but smoked sounds better. If you add smokies, you've got atomic buffalo turds.

I saw a chili grill rack at Home Depot yesterday. Not sure why I didn't buy it, I know I'm going to. Not made for jalapenos that are halved. It holds 36 peppers upright in the space of about a square foot.

I'm thinking top a pepper, insert your filling up to about a half inch from the top, use a toothpick or bamboo skewer to make a few vertical holes in the filling. Then roll up part of a slice of bacon and place it inside the top of the pepper, so the fat drips down into the holes and permeates the filling.

Last night I made potato chips in my dehydrator for the first time. I will definitely do it again. It's nice to know and control what you are eating (especially for those with allergies or special dietary restrictions).

I used these directions. I went for a BBQ flavor, with 1t salt, 1/2t garlic pepper, 1/2t paprika, and 1/2 t chili powder for one medium russet potato. I'll definitely cut the salt in half next time, and probably back off on some of the fat (I used peanut oil).

What is a Super Bow?

It's what Obama does when he meets with foreign leaders.
