Cruz was being asked about all the crazy tweets coming out of Trump today
When asked if he thought Trump was being "funny" Cruz claimed, "I think they're very funny. I think Donald, I wake up every day and laugh at the latest thing Donald has Tweeted because he's losing it. Look, we need a commander in chief, not a Twitterer in chief."
"We need someone with judgment and the temperament to keep this country safe. I don't know anyone who would be comfortable with someone who behaves this way having his finger on the button," Cruz claimed. "I mean, we're liable to wake up one morning and Donald, if he were president would have nuked Denmark. That's not the temperament of a leader to keep this country safe."
BTW, I agree with Cruz. The Trump the night of the Iowa caucus had my attention again because it looked like he was going to settle down and be serious.......then off he goes again on ridiculous rants.
I would prefer he nuked Mexico.

It is interesting where this primary race is going. Seems like there is one personality in the race that has set the tone. But, anyone other than that one personality who tries to gives as they get is insulting. Who started this demeaning, schoolyard, adolescent crap?

I heard the comment. Cruz used that intentionally exaggerated example to accentuate the point that Trump should not be allowed near the nuke codes.
Cruz assembled a team of experts to manipulate social media and the mainstream media. Many of the comments on this thread could very well be inspired or even the direct result of their efforts. Even after Romney was coronated at the Republican convention I do not remember such divisive comments being made on the forums. I believe the Cruz dirty tricks team may actually be threatening the viability of the site. A competing site for Cruz supporters who couldn’t act in a civil manner was even formed. It is nothing short of amazing.
