Cruz pulls one more Clinton-like dirty trick before heading to New Hampshire

First it was the Clinton like intimidation letter scolding voters because Ted Cruz decided their past refusal to vote in the Iowa caucuses made them bad citizens. That was a planned eleventh hour “Oops that NEVER should have happened; why that’s terrible,” dirty trick worthy of Hillary and Bill Clinton.

Then on election night Cruz super supporter Republican Congressman Steve King – (a self- identified enemy of amnesty who has no trouble overlooking the pro amnesty Club For Growth’s support for Cruz) decided that Cruz needed another thumb on the scale and spread a lie about Ben Carson dropping out of the race with this tweet, “Carson looks like [he] is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope.” Now In true Clinton style, Cruz apologized to Carson, but of course it comes after the fact.

Cruz said, “What the team should have done is send around the follow-up statement from the Carson campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race when that came out. That was a mistake from our end, and for that I apologize to Dr. Carson.” In another Clintonian “Not me, It wasn’t me” statement Cruz tried to blame CNN for the “innocent mistake.” Cruz has said that CNN reported Carson was leaving the race; but CNN says, “No, we didn’t say that.”

More than this, Carson’s wife “Candy” actually heard the lie being spread in a polling place in Ankeny. According to a report in the Dailymail, Mrs. Carson “actually walked in, on it being said,[and] gave a speech about no, he’s still in the race and that’s a lie”

“Once again I will let Senator Sessions address the issue of the position Senator Cruz during the Gang of Eight.”

Is that the same Jeff Sessions that worked with Trump -basically authored- Trumps immigration policy?

Why, I think it IS!

Club for Growth is giving Cruz tons of money. They will want something in return.

Cruz “character”:
1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote.
2. Claiming Carson quit, “vote for me”
3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video “vote for me”
4. “Brilliant” lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.

Just enough to beat the polls and Trump.

Whata kontry!

I think that mailing was a bad idea. Creepy really. The Carson thing is much ado about nothing, whining at this point. I call em as I see em..

Trump’s ego is too big to realize this. He should be going after Rubio, but instead he’ll go after Cruz because his ego can’t stand the idea that Cruz beat him.

Ted has found time to pull some backroom BAD legislation lately too!

TED CRUZ’S FEDERAL EDUCATION “CHOICE” KILLS THE AMERICAN DREAM

[snip]January 28, 2016

WARNING: Senator Ted Cruz Uses the Words “CHOICE” and “CIVIL RIGHTS,” but Beware. By Dangling Title I Money to ALL Parents, Sen. Ted Cruz Accelerates Federal Control Over All Private, Religious, and Homeschools, and Blankets Common Core Equitably to ALL Schools in America With His Proposed Bill, S 306. [Source: Link]

On Oct. 26, 2015, The Blaze quoted Sen. Ted Cruz as saying, “School Choice Is Today’s ‘Civil Rights’ Issue.” But before you get excited about this, ask Sen. Ted Cruz what he means when he uses the term “choice.”

So of the top finishing three, Trump was the only one who didn’t lie to caucus goers?

Wow, that Donald Trump sure is a villain.

Agreed, I think this is more about the Carson campaign trying to desperately spin to their donors why he did so poorly. He has probably been secretly promising them that he’d finish much better than he had been polling recently.

Instead of telling them his campaign is in shambles, he’s using this as an excuse.

Remember Carson led all candidates in fundraising in the 4th quarter.

Cruz allowed the vote on ObamaTRADE because it
was SECRET like his loans and his wife’s role
in ObamaTRADE.
These corrupt dirty tricks are also disgusting.

For all those that have an auditory processing problem. Here’s a play by play of what the CNN reporters (and I use the term reporters loosely) said, so let’s take a look at it.

Guy Reporter: Dr. Ben Carson...what have we learned?

Woman Reporter: We should say our Chris Moody is breaking this...that Ben Carson is going to go back to Florida to his home regardless of how he does tonight here in Iowa. He’s going to go there for several days and then afterwards he’s not going to go to So. Carolina, he’s not going to go to New Hampshire, he’s going to come to Wash. D.C. and he’s going to do that because the National Prayer Breakfast is on Thurs. If you have been following Ben Carson’s career you know that that’s where he got himself on the political map. Attending that prayer breakfast and really giving it to president obama at the time.....and he became kind of a hero among conservatives and evangelicals especially.

(So where in there does it say he is quitting? Who sees it? No one, because it’s not there. Let’s move on...)

GR: But it’s very unusual.

WR: Very unusual.

GR: To be announcing that you’re going home to rest for a few day....not going on to the next site..plus he’s already announced that he’ll be coming out and speaking at 9:15 local and 10:15 eastern no matter whether or not we know the results ..uh....because he wants to get home and get ahead of the storm.

(Where is anywhere in that, that indicates he’s quitting. No where because again, it’s not there. Let’s move on.)

WR: Look if you want to be president of the United States...you don’t go home to Florida. Why...I mean that’s just the bottom line, end of story. You want to signal to your supporters that you want it...that you’re hungry for it and that if you want them to get out and campaign...you’ve got to be out there doing it too. It’s very unusual.

GR: Very unusual news that CNN has just learned and Chris Moody is breaking this story...Wolf back to you in Wash.

Wolf: Very significant news indeed guys.

(Is there anywhere in that, where Dr. Carson was quitting? No. That was nothing but a couple of idiot CNN pundits giving THEIR analysis of what THEY think a candidate should do.)

So how did Cruz’s camp spin this into Carson’s quitting?
They lied and deceived.
To those who claim Carson supporters are stupid, all I can say is Christians take other Christians at their word, until they find out they have been deceived. Cruz would have been better off even if he had of come in second to Trump and not created all of this controversy. His victory is hollow and tainted because we will now never know what the true count would have been.

This pisses me off because some votes probably went to Rubio. I can live with Cruz or Trump. The last thing I want is the Rubio campaign picking up steam. I’m sure his 3rd place win makes the GOPe giddy!!

Rubio's team repeated this, too, because it was based on a CNN report.

First I've heard of Rubio's camp repeating this. Not surprised the media's not reporting that. Is there a link somewhere to verify this? Would be interesting to find out if Trump's camp repeated/retweeted the CNN story too.

"...does anyone else think he is not a liar, cheat and creep?..."

*LOTS* of folks think Cruz is just fine. Trump on the other hand is known quite well for his nastiness, bribing, creepiness. So the better question is...

If you don’t speculate he’s quitting off the fact he’s leaving the campaign trail for about a week then your heads in the sand. Period.
