If a person with normal intelligence enters a warm room with a fire in the fire place, he will say the fire is heating the room. A global warmer will say that the room is warm because carbon dioxide is trapping heat.

When I was in first grade in the 1960s, our teacher showed us a film clip about how we are using so much water that lakes and rivers are drying up and would eventually be gone. I remember a scene from the clip showing people standing by a huge lake with grim expressions on their faces. The people were saying things like "It's hard to believe, but at the rate we are using the water, this all will be gone."
At the ripe old age of 6, I watched that and thought, "How can it possibly dry up? Doesn't the rain refill the lake?"
The attempted indoctrination has been going on for a long time. The smarter kids figure it out right away.

And, I just got a notice, in my electric bill, that they want to install “solar GARDENS” on my property!
Solar isn’t anything we’ve seen very much of these past two or three months! Heck, even the solar lights on our deck and along the walk haven’t gotten enough “solar” to do any more than flicker and my house plants are getting pretty pale.
Also, they say that this will reduce my carbon footprint???
I guess they think I’m too dumb to figure the carbon footprint it would make to mine, manufacture and haul those silly things.
Yet the alleged “smart meters” they installed last summer have resulted in 5 of my last 6 electric bills being estimated! On the high side, of course. Since the smart meters went online our electric usage has supposedly gone up 20-30%.
At the current price of propane, it seems more feasible to put in a propane generator and pull their plug.
Bad science is a small price to play for control of other people.

Is the meter an Itron?
If so, that explains a lot.
If you have an Itron, just above and to the right of the display, there should be “HPP” (High Power), this means that the transmitter is HP and has better range. If if it doesn’t have HPP, then its a low power transmitter, and it may not have enough range for the signal to get captured by the AMR especially if reception is poor, in turn making it difficult to assemble a useful real-time load profile.
After the second or third “estimate”, one would think the system would have flagged your service to schedule a visual read of your meter.
