Winter is coming. And with it, the Republican Party could see a third season of its presidential primary dominated by Donald Trump.

The collective wisdom after the Paris terrorist attacks—that voters would gravitate toward a battle-tested, policy-minded candidate with experience to lead in such turbulent times has yet to take hold. In fact, Trump not only continues to top polls, but a new survey of Iowa voters shows he is considered the best candidate to handle terrorism.

If this operation is a success, it is the END of the Republican party, IMHO.

IMHO, the Republican Party died in Mississippi, when Thad Cochrane won his primary with Democrat votes...and Rinse stood mute.

Sure the gop can take down Trump. And I fully expect them to do so. If not in the nomination, then in the general. Anyone who dares challenge the uniparty hegemony cannot be allowed something so precous as a space on the ballot.

This is a great object lesson on why votng is counterproductive. We spend billions of manhours and dollars on an elections racket that merely provides a seal of approval for the oligarchs. Now imagine if you will those same manhours and dollars spent on something useful. What an incredible waste of the talents and treasure of the American people.

The NWO order wins regardless. Caesar owns the election process right down to counting the votes. the outcome of the sham electoral process is predictable: caesar wins.

Go ahead and waste your time with the suckers game and come tell us how righteous and noble you are for playing it once again. Better a proud sucker than just an embarassed one I guess.

The Evil Party is the Democrat Party. The GOP is slipping form the stupid part into the insane party.

Yes, you and I with countless others. I see the take down of Trump by the Republican Party as a decree by the royalty to their serfs. I do not care if you support Trump or someone else, this is simply wrong by any standard and you should oppose it. Have they promised Kasich the VP slot for attacking Trump?

Bush was on FOX this morning slamming Trump left and right.

It was awful.

Its too late to stop The Donald now. The GOPe is on their last gasp. We are in the holidays now. People will not be paying attention to politics until Jan 2nd. By that time it will be too close to the Iowa Caucus and the NH primary to catch Trump. Unless he commits an unforced error Trump is the next GOP nominee.

“It’s looking (again) like the GOP doesn’t WANT the WH

The GOP doesn’t care about the WH or the majority for that matter, as long as they still have their jobs!

Can It Work?

I doubt it.

The conventional thinking goes like this:

l. Attack ads erode popular support.
2. Popular support drives donations.
3. A falling candidate scares away donors.
4. Reduced donations starves a candidate.
5. Candidate runs out of money before regaining lost popularity.
6. Candidate is forced to drop out of the race.

Donald Trump is self-funding. He can afford to stay in the race to the very end. Even if he does suffer an erosion in popular support, events will eventually overtake the GOPe and they will look even worse by comparison.

I think it’s a pretty safe bet that Trump will get the nomination, and become the next President. The GOP can’t take him down, and neither can the Democrats.Only Trump can throw stones in his own path sufficient to turn off some who are enthusiastic about him now, but might gravitate to someone else between now and the important Primaries. Trump has to banish forever, ONCE AND FOR ALL, this tendency of his to wallow in social media, and engage in pointless shadow-boxing with Rubio, Carson, Bush, et. al. He should begin talking to the American People EXCLUSIVELY, NOW. He must make his policy positions known, so none can undermine him with spurious claims that he’s fuzzy on the details. There’s a lot I think he needs to do, to ensure his election, not the least of which is to stop taking the MSM bait designed solely to continue to create dissension in the R ranks, with the sole intention of making the front-runner drop in the polls while boosting the chances of the others to probably lose against Hillary Clinton.

..and they will lose this time too. In fact, it will be an exploding cigar IMO.

Trump largely made Trump - and no one but Trump can un-make Trump....especially the Jurassic media and/or the pussified GOP - E.

Well, actually there are two sources that could - maybe, but right now, both of those sources are very supportive of Trump.
