It's quite rare to be part of a story on which I report, but this time I'm at Ground Zero. My church in Gulfport, Mississippi, Cowan Road Baptist Church, is the center of a growing story. In the wake of the horrific slaughter of at least 130 people in Paris by Muslim demoniacs, our Pastor, Chris Ashley, put a message on our church sign: "Jesus is God; Allah is Satan" and below that, he added, "Joshua 24:15."
It didn't take long for Muslim spokesmen here on the Coast to voice their offense at it, and the local media have featured the offended Muslims on their newscasts. They have also interviewed Pastor Chris, as well, and as a result, there will be a debate showdown on December 5th. As WLOX-TV reported on Sunday:
Conversations of the marquee isn't [sic] just on the coast, but Muslim followers as far as Atlanta have reached out to Pastor Ashley about what's on display.
An Atlanta man reached out to Pastor Ashley and left a message saying, "We noticed on your sign that it says 'Allah is Satan, Jesus is God'. We challenge you to a public debate about your statement. You all have defamed and insulted our faith, so we would like to challenge your statement 'Allah is Satan, Jesus is God'".
Pastor Ashley has called Mr. Bilal Stroud back to accept his debate challenge. They have both agreed to meet with people from their communities, Saturday, December 5th at 6 p.m. at Cowan Road Baptist Church.
The debate will be public and streamed online. We're going to continue to follow this controversial story and bring you the latest.
I asked Pastor Chris if he would give me a statement to include in this column. Here is what he wrote:
God laid a message (sermon) on my heart for last Sunday the 22nd. That message was for the church to stop hiding the truth inside the walls of the church (not just this truth of Allah, but ALL truth). The body of Christ has succumbed to political correctness and fear of offending anyone, to the point we talk about the truth ONLY in the confines of the walls of the church.
God laid it on my heart less than 30 minutes before the beginning of that service to proclaim that Allah of the Quran is Satan, and that Jesus is the true God. I did. Finishing the sign just minutes before the service. No malice. No judging (except for Allah and Satan). No hatred. Just obedience.
I have NO idea why God has put me (of all people) to be in this, but my prayer is to be obedient until the end. I humbly ask for your prayers as well.
On a different note, I believe God has shown me over the last several days that my part of this message may not be for the Muslim people as much as it is for Christians. I am AMAZED at the number of self-proclaimed believers who think the God of the Bible and the god of the Quran are the same. May God bless you all.
I love and admire Chris Ashley, and I thank the Lord that he is my pastor and brother in Christ. He is a leader, a truth-teller, and he is courageous. Courage is contagious. If hundreds or even thousands of Christian churches across America had the courage to put this message on their signs, Muslim activists, along with the truth-hating, left-wing media, would have a hard time keeping up their attacks against those of us who speak the truth.
What Pastor Chris wrote about Jesus and Allah is true. Islam is a political-militant ideology born in Hell and authored by Satan himself. Allah certainly is Satan. Islam is one of his master stroke creations, leading millions to an eternity in Hell. I will not bow to political correctness in this. I will not sugar-coat what I say about Islam, because I know what a vile and evil thing it is.
A tenet of Islam is taqiyya, which is lying for the sake of Islam's spread. We cannot trust a word they say. The obscene murders committed by soldiers of Allah are commanded in their detestable Koran! And, apologists for Islam lie and claim those murders have nothing to do with Islam. All rational people know better than that!
Jesus is God, and He is the only way—the ONLY way—men can be saved. Muslims need Him. We all need Him. Those of us who know the truth must stand firmly against the Islamic caliphate that is sweeping across Europe and the United States. Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) is facilitating it. He is on the side of our sworn, Muslims enemies, who are subversives who want to destroy our constitutional Republic, who want to kill us and enslave us under their demented Sharia law. Those are Obama's buddies. We must resist. We must not be afraid to tell the truth about Islam and its murderous, tyrannical goals. Islam is evil, period.

Finally, please remember Pastor Chris Ashley, his family and our church in your prayers. Pray that he will stand boldly in the face of the shrill voices screeching and lying about the truth he speaks. Pray for our safety, and pray that other Christian churches will begin to be unafraid to stand for the unbending truth of God's Word. This nation desperately needs a flood of truth to wash over it.
Allah is not the same as the One and only true God who reveals Himself in the Scriptures as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the same One who has revealed Himself as the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.
Thus Allah is not God.
hmmm. That makes me wonder about the anti-Christ. When it declares that it is god, does the dragon and the false prophet also declare they are gods? “13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; 14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.”
The Word was with God, and the Word was God. That's about as plain as a person can say it.

God is the One who divided the languages and has left for Himself a witness in every language. He has also promised that some would be saved from every language spoken. People do not have to learn Greek or Hebrew, the original languages of the Bible, in order to receive forgiveness and eternal life.
The name of Jesus is above every name according to the Bible, but that name is pronounced differently in nearly every language. It is even pronounced differently in Greek and Hebrew, the original languages of the Bible, thus proving that His name does not have to be said in the original Biblical languages in order to have meaning.
Allah is the Arabic word for God and has been long before Islam hijacked it. When men spoke with tongues on Pentecost, there were Arabs present who heard about God in their own language. What word for God do you suppose they heard?
Allah was God’s title in Arabic before English was even a spoken language.
Lots of people have done evil in the name of Jesus over the centuries, but we do not say that Jesus is Satan. We know that those doing the evil are not following the true Jesus but an impostor.
I am asserting the same about the term “Allah”.
There are many Christian men, women, and children who only speak Arabic and have chosen to die rather than deny Jesus and His Father who is referred to in the Arabic Bibles as “Allah” because that is the word for God in their language.
Muslims serve Satan ignorantly just like many other religious people do ignorantly, including “Christians”. That does not mean Christ is Satan. It means that Satan masquerades as God and Jesus.
Calling Allah Satan is not merely an insult to Muslims, it is an insult to Arabic Christian martyrs who died being faithful to the one true God who they called Allah because that is God’s title in their language.
It is one thing to do something in ignorance but another to willfully choose to remain ignorant.

I am not defending the Muslim religion. I am pointing out that Muslims do not know the true God.
Unfortunately, most western Christians seem to think that Paul and Peter spread the gospel using the King James Bible. And if it was good enough for them, it is good enough for us.
The reality is that God is just as concerned about the souls of Arabic speakers as He is English speakers. He has promised both will be among those who receive eternal life.
Allah is the title that God chose for Himself in the Arabic language. Christians and Jews who speak Arabic understand this. Even though nearly every language has a different word for God, there is still one true God. And He does not require us to learn a language different from our native one in order to learn about Him.
Arabic speakers come to God (”Allah” in their language) through His Son Jesus, the Nazarene, just as everyone in every language must. Muslims do not recognize that Jesus is the Son of God. Therefore, they do not know God. That does not mean that their title for God is wrong any more than false Christian cults have the wrong title for God. But their error does not justify insulting the title for God in various languages where He has been misrepresented.
In Heaven there will be unity of language, since the Bible is based on two very important languages, Hebrew and Greek.

I repeat myself, and I certainly don't give a flip if that "insults" Muslims. The Lord's remnant will be--yes--from all people, all tribes, all nations, but the "Allah" of Islam is still the devil.
I understand that the Arabic word for God is “allah.” Perhaps it would be best to say, “The Muslim’s ‘Allah’ is not the one and only true God. But most of the arabic people of the world are Muslims.
Your explanation is true. Peter and Paul went to the Jews first, then the Gentiles, as the apostles were told by the Lord to do. A third “category” of people was specifically singled out in Acts—the Samaritans. People of all three “categories,” to whom Jesus was to be preached, received the message, were saved from their sins, and baptized (united) by the Holy Spirit into one body, of the Lord Jesus Christ—called the Church, and are still being saved in the same way.
As far as the “categories” named in the Scriptures, the
arabs would be Gentiles. Wonder how the Muslim arabs would like that term—Gentiles—applied to themselves...
Do you know that there is one country that has the government that tells the Christians not to even call God “Allah”. Kid you not.

Christ spoke of the Pharisees and scribes as having Satan as their father despite the fact that these folks still used the term “God” when they spoke of him. Their God was in truth Satan despite their use God’s name as Satan’s name! 1 John 4 clarifies who the true God and true Son is and are. The true God sent the son who was God in Flesh. Jesus, Spirit, and The Father are all one God! Jesus was Christ come in the flesh. He is the Word made flesh! That is the difference between the “Allah” of the Muslims and the “Allah” of the Christians! If anyone denies Christ as come in the flesh, they are revealing that they are of the spirit of Anti-Christ which is already active in the world!
