Oh yes there was enormous love and support from everywhere...in fact, the french were very supportive.
Except for pro islam people...the world was with us. Emotionally at least..

Not sure where you are coming from, but in the wake of 9/11 I recall pretty much the entire world rallying to our support. It didn’t last. Such things never do. But foreign support and sympathy was overwhelming for about a year.

There are 2 pages so far pointing out that the world did stand by us after 9/11. I won't repeat what has been posted. I will just say this:
The French, who can piss us off from time to time, stood by us when we were starting our Republic. For that reason, we should always have their backs. My grandfather helped to liberate France from the Nazis. So, our friends got hit this weekend. We should be backing them up now.
