I’ll be damned if I join the Leftist Media in this despicable hatchet job on a good and decent man, Ben Carson. He may not be my number one choice for president but this coordinated Media assault and so-called “conservative” bashing of Carson is beyond the pale.

GOOD QUESTION. What else is lurking on Carson. I don’t think the media would be pumping him to this extent if they didn’t think they could clear him out for Hillary. They DEFINITELY know they have a problem with Trump, as nothing seems to stick to him at all.
I see no evidence that he was exaggerating.
He also knows this because of all the beforehand use of AA.
I listened to him on Hannity yesterday, he was not very concise in his responses, seemed very vague and allowed Hannity to shape & control the narrative to what Hannity wanted to believe and Carson allowed it. Was anything settled in that show, no it wasn't, but it did defiantly inspire the Sympathy voters.
Do we now support a naive (by commission or omission) person to become President? Stop and consider what is at stake as President of the United States, it is not brain surgery.
The sharks are out for blood now, they will be combing every part of his life story from this point out. It pisses me off because there is such a double standard - they never vetted Obama or any liberal politician. But when you run as a conservative this is the scrutiny you face, unfortunately if a candidate can’t take the heat they should get out of the kitchen.
Aside from Carson lacking the necessary skill set for the job, what troubles me is that he has made misleading statements or offered stories that he has either told multiple ways or that can’t or won’t be corroborated by anybody. If my close family member had wanted me to verify a story that included me, I’d do so, assuming that the tale was true. That Carson expects us to accept his stories, however varied they are, or difficult to verify, based solely on what he says is ridiculous.

You are absolutely not being racist. It's the same thing that happened with Obama first gaining traction then having the opposition back off from criticizing him in the campaign. What often happens is that people who are racist over-compensate by pandering to blacks. They don't feel blacks can stand up to the same scrutiny they'd use for whites. That's what's racist, the lower expectations. The result is we don't get the best black candidates, because they're held to a lower standard.
Did you notice how those defending Dr. Carson are using the race card? They're saying the media is out to get him because he's a black conservative. They should be out to get him, because Dr. Carson has a tenuous relationship with accuracy.
I’m with ya. WTF is the matter with Conservatives? One of the reasons why we lose so badlly to the statists is because so many Conservatives get fooled into playing their game. You would think most Conservatives would know better by now..jeeze

First they came for Christie over Bridgegate, but I didn’t mind because I was not in New Jersey.
Then they came for Fiorina over her HP leadership, but I didn’t care because I never held HP stock.

Then they came for Carson over his West Point story, but I didn’t care because I don’t think Carson is qualified to be POTUS.
Then they came for Trump over his sleazy career and personal history, but I didn’t care because I thought Trump could never beat Hilary.
Then Ted Cruz rose to the top of the heap and won the nomination. So the MSM came after him with a vengeance never before seen in the modern political age. As a result, Cruz lost to Hilary.

I’ve noticed that some fellow Christians are like this, and I have mixed feelings about it. To some people, it’s a contest of who was worse before giving themselves over to the Lord. While I think some people simply share their stories earnestly to prove that anyone truly can be saved, there are the Carson types who will just exaggerate, embellish, and outright lie, as if the worse you are before your conversion, the “better” Christian you are after finding Christ. It’s a game of bragging and one-upping each other for some of these people. I’m glad they’ve managed to find salvation, but I wish they’d be mature enough to realize the you don’t gain more “experience points” for having been the worst scumbag in the world before coming to the Lord. A person who has always walked the straight and narrow is just as saved as a murdered, so long as they both know that Jesus is Lord.
It’s one of the things that really bothers me the most about Carson. He doesn’t seem to have much in the way of moral fiber if he can’t refrain from lying about stupid stuff.
It isn't everyone. It's the puppet masters and the posters they send here who want to keep Dr. Carson in the race. When Dr. Carson goes, Trump gets a boost. With Dr. Carson still in there, Jeb hangs on to disgust us another day. Meanwhile, they're scheming for a "Plan B" if they can't force-feed us Jeb. Dr. Carson buys them time.

I don’t like him. I don’t trust him and think he’s a little whacked out. But he was exemplary in his field.
