2015-11-05 : Free Republic's Patton@Bastogne's Bold Political Predictions

(1) Yeb Bush will make a good political campaign decision "intelligently" REFUSE to exit the 2016 GOP Presidential Race until he is DEFEATED in the 2016 March 15 Florida Primary. Yeb Bush's political "ace in the hole" is the hopelessly corrupt Florida Republican Party ... the ones who redistricted the great Allen West out-of-office.

(2) Meanwhile ... Dr. Ben Carson will be polling "single digits" by Christmas 2015 ... at which point he'll endorse (suprise, surprise) Yeb Bush ...

(3) Marco "Amnesty" Rubio (lavishly funded by Yeb Bush's former donors) ... will place FOURTH in Iowa (abandoned by the Tea Party Evangelical Christians for being a greedy bad-faced liar) and FOURTH in the Florida Primary (in a "blood-sport" death-match with Yeb Bush)

4) Ted Cruz SHOCKS the "Washington Establishment Cartel" with a three-percent Florida victory over Donald Trump ...

Cruz would destroy Hillary in a debate. Rubio on the other hand would be taken to the cleaners.

I don’t think it’s down to Rubio/Cruz. I still think it’s Trump/Rubio/Cruz.

This is good and during this process the “unfit” should be weeded out. With Cruz and Rubio it’s going to be more like the righteous vs the unrighteous. Character counts. I hope Rubio finds that out.

Rubio removed himself from consideration when he schemed with Schumer against the citizens and the rule of law.

So the “pundits” want Cruz and Rubio (obviously for different reasons). Clearly the “pundits” know neither is a threat to Hillary.

Wouldn’t it be nice to see it boil down to candidates who are actually constitutionally eligible to be President?

Interesting points....in a few months we can look back at some of these predictions and smile, cry or laugh!

I probably would support a Cruz-Rubio ticket with Cruz as
top dog.
As long as Cruz stopped young Marco’s amnesty B.S.

Interesting analysis, and very plausible. This needs to be sent to all the TV talking heads.

The RNC will give us the candidate THEY want.
They’ll just play delegate games like they did last time.

I had to look up this “Jefferson Sherman” guy the article mentions, I didn’t even know he was running.

Now I’m tempted to start some pro-Sherman threads just for fun :)

If they want a balanced debate pltform, put Christie and the Huckster on one side and the rest on the other side.

Cruz has the gravitas and intellect of a Jeb Bush,

Is there a Jeb Bush about whom I am unaware? No one would ever accuse Jeb of being smart.

Sorry but you all better rethink your worship of Senator Ted "Vat Tax" Cruz. His advocating for a new form of Taxation is an albatross the Democrats will hang around his neck in the General Election.

Carson has imploded today, Cruz is un-electable outside of Texas so you are left with only one guy that can win.

Donald Trump.

Believe it or not George Will was the first to predict this, followed by Krauthammer then Steve Hayes.

I’ve believed ever since the last debate that this was the most likely scenario.
