ABSURD: Parentâs sign asks âresponsibleâ neighbors to only hand out carrot sticks, raisins for Halloween!!
Combined PING! and DANG!
The little monsters are getting chocolate eyeballs at the Dynachrome mansion.
Speaking as a parent of a child with severe food allergies including nuts, I find its just easier to be a responsible parent and go through my kid’s candy afterwards. Then I remove what he can’t eat as well as all of the Twix bars which I eat myself.... to protect him..... from something or another....
I know someone who gives out toothbrushes. The kids actually ask every year if they’re going to get a toothbrush. They like it.
If the kids stop by John Kerry’s house, Teresa can hand out her raisins soaked in gin.
Screw that. I’m sick of this sh!t. If you don’t want to participate in T&T....DONT’T! Stop trying to make everyone else to ‘conform’. Seriously......SCREW YOU!
Carror sticks are not wrapped at the factory. Just like with the apples, an Exacto blade could fit nicely in one.
I would respond by putting out a sign that says “How about I hand out nothing”.
I feel sorry for the kids of today.
No freedom and carrot sticks. And let us not forget that Jack-o-lanterns cause global warming.
Sorry kids. (:
Raisins are loaded with sugar.
Even a half century ago, the first thing we did was throw out anything not factory packaged. Homemade treats and fresh fruits and vegetables went straight in the garbage can.
These parents probably need a visit from CPS and some parenting skills training.
The peanut allergy kids should not go door-to-door.
Let the other kids enjoy their candy.
.
The LongWayHome abode gave out Milky Way, 3 Musketeers & M&Ms this evening....and what was left are now being stuffed in our collective faces:)
LOL
Those peanut butter cups have peanuts in them!
You should be thanking me for eating them for you.
Stop crying and be grateful for a change.
I always liked the Coneheada giving out 6 packs of beer for Halloween.

I thought it was unsafe to get unwrapped treats.
I live way out in the country so don’t have any trick or treaters.
When I was a kid, I wouldn’t have minded getting those little boxes of raisins but would not want raw vegetables.
Typical lib.
“I can’t / don’t want to do something, so I’ll do my dammedest to be sure no one else can, either.”
If my kid couldn’t go trick or treating because of some sort of allergy, we’d just find something else to do. It not like there aren’t dozens of other options.
