Trump also promised to cut spending and waste in government, a promise met with skepticism from both hosts. Yet it has been pointed out that just eliminating zero-based budgeting alone, which automatically increases government spending by 6 percent a year, would stop the growth of government spending and the debt trajectory.
Trump implied that there would be cuts in whole departments and business efficiencies brought to procurement and spending. As he put it in previous interviews, “It’s called management.”

It was clear Trump had the American economy on his mind, first and foremost. He was detailed and less bombastic as he asserted that business and economic growth are what his wheelhouse is and what needs to be emphasized to change the trajectory of the economy and government spending.
He repeatedly defended his tax policies with specifics, and when pushed on his commitment to the presidential race made the point that he was winning in the polls and connecting with the voters. When pressed on whether he would leave the race if his numbers dropped, Trump was nonplussed, replying that he was not a “masochist” and if his poll numbers tanked it would be because he was no longer connecting with the American people.

I hope you are right. The only thing for sure is that a mega Operation Chaos is heading Trump’s way.

If they win by election fraud, I fear what will happen.
If Trump does not win, and especially if the Democrats do, many people are going to go Galt.
I honestly think he’s got close 1/3 of the GOP vote locked up.
As others drop and undecideds break, he will inch higher. He could get to 40% by mid spring. That makes him very tough to beat in winner take all states.
Waiting for the GOPeNC to start changing rules and miraculously awarding additional super-delegates to states where he performs marginally.
He knows Barbara Walters, and just gave Arnold Schwarzenegger the top job on his show "The Apprentice"
Trump let out in a town hall meeting a week of so ago that his BP is 108, this is a BP of a super fit athlete. My guess is he spends an hour a week exercising....the "Super Slow regime" very slow with very heavy weights to muscle failure.

Ya know, CottonBall, I don’t know you from Adam, but I don’t post claims that I “make up,” thank you very much. There are multiple articles quoting Trump as saying that he’d give NON-CRIMINAL illegal aliens legal status” I have no desire to FIGHT with anyone here...just sharing my viewpoint.
I agree but the LSM always treats Republicans that way.
