For once, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is in trouble for something he didn’t say as opposed to something he did. Specifically, he’s taking heat for his failure to defend Barack Obama when one of his supporters questioned his Christian faith.
“We have a problem in this country,” said a man attending Trump’s rally in New Hampshire Thursday night. “It’s called Muslims. We know our current president is one. You know he’s not even an American — birth certificate, man … We have training camps growing, where they want to kill us. That’s my question. When can we get rid of them?”
Trump looked around. “This is how we’re starting?”
After some laughs, Trump went on to say, “We’re going to be looking at a lot of different things. You know, a lot of people are saying that, and a lot of people are saying that bad things are happening out there. We’re going to look at that and plenty of other things.”
Not much meat on the bones of that answer, but that didn’t stop a legion of liberal critics from slamming the GOP frontrunner. Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz issued a statement reading: “Donald Trump’s racism knows no bounds. This is certainly horrendous but unfortunately unsurprising given what we have seen already. The vile rhetoric coming from the GOP candidates is appalling.”
Others piled on, demanding to know why Trump didn’t insist that Obama was both an American and a Christian. Likely Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was inspired to personally use her Twitter account to say, “Donald Trump not denouncing false statements about POTUS & hateful rhetoric about Muslims is disturbing, & just plain wrong. Cut it out.”
But why is it so offensive to suggest that Obama is a Muslim? Has he ever spoken of the religion in anything but glowing terms? Was his father not a Muslim? Are there not pictures showing him in Muslim garb and participating in Muslim ceremonies? He claims to be a Christian, and perhaps he’s telling the truth, but there is a lot of evidence to suggest his sympathies lie elsewhere. Why should it be up to Donald Trump to “correct” the man when he has absolutely no way of knowing the truth? None of us do!
But according to the left, anyone who believes that he is a Muslim is wrong. Period. End of story. They are incorrect and misinformed. Offensive and racist.
But why, if Islam is this great religion of peace and love, would it be offensive to suggest that the president might belong to that religion? It should be a tremendous honor, right?
No, apparently it’s “disturbing.” Well, it is, Hillary, but not in the way you think.
Cuz it's an opportunity to attack Trump...Whatever it takes...
When we have a preeminent liar in the White Crib, one must determine which lie is the truth because most of his truths are lies. To which I say, if he likes his religion, he can keep his religion. What difference does it make? Hillary had an almost identical answer as Trump to Barry’s religious leanings in 2008.
Perhaps the next time the issue comes up, a candidate should praise Obama for converting from Islam to Christianity. Kinda hard for anyone who truly believes to be both. Even rev. Wright mentioned how easy it was to convert.
Presuming that any leftists have any serious religious beliefs, that require a choice between two religions.
Would perhaps make the press ask Obama about his own beliefs, rather than question his opponents about them?

Because they created the fiction that 0 is a “committed Christian” and they don’t want us to see the man behind the curtain.
It’s about protecting Obama (if that’s his real name), of course.
It’s also the totalitarian impulse. “Will you submit your intellect to our power?”
“Obama is a Christian” is equivalent to “2+2=5.”
Notice which candidates have pre-emptively announced that “Obama is a Christian.”
Ann Archy pointed out that if Obama INTENDED to say “Christian faith”—which he would have intended if he were a Christian—then the beginning of the sentence makes absolutely no sense!
Obama was commending McCain for not making an issue of Obama’s religion. Why would McCain need to be commended for not making an issue of a CHRISTIAN’s religion?
He became a Christian...went through the paces....for political reasons alone. It doesn’t take 20 years to figure out what you are.
This is the same question I posted on another thread. Why not admit that you were a muslim?
We not only know that he IS a muslim, but that specifically is a Suni muslim.
Obama's real religion is not islamism.

It would be safe to assume that Obama is really worshipping himself through satan and is not a muslim.

And just WHOM is this Trump “supporter”? Surely the MSM can find out all about him within a few hours as they did “Joe the Plumber”.
Strange no interviews or expose’s of this “Trump Supporter”.
Because if reminds people of all the time he spend overseas being raised in Muslim schools in Indonesia. It reminds the left of the fact that Obama may have given up his citizenship at some point while overseas. It is part of Obama's past that the left doesn't want the general public to know that much about for fear that more of his secrets and lies will be revealed.
he was the first to call for the impeachment of B. J. Clinton. That was in the week of the 20th of January, 1993.
Any negative spoken against Obama is considered by the Left to be racist. To them,there is nothing worse than that.

I called in once when he and Lee Rogers did a joint broadcast when Desert Storm kicked off. Turned out just about everybody I knew was listening. My ‘phone rang off the hook for the rest of the evening.

Accused of being a Muslim sounds like they consider it something bad.......accused of being a Catholic, a Lutheran, a Methodist sounds O.K. to me but (horrors) a Muslim???....
