In Andrea Mitchell's interview with Hillary Clinton, this exchange took place:
AM: You have said that Colin Powell did the same thing. He actually had a personal e-mail and a State .gov official e-mail system. She said she used her personal server for "convenience." Then she goes on to stab herself in the back.So he didn't just rely on a personal system. I don't think there's any precedent for someone just relying on a personal e-mail system at your level of government.
HRC: Well, I can't speak for him. That has certainly been portrayed differently, depending on how it's considered, but this was fully above board, people knew I was using a personal e-mail. I did it for convenience.
I sent e-mails that I thought were work-related to people's .gov accounts. The vast majority were captured by the system, and now we've made sure that everything that could be considered work related is in the system of the State Department. If you want to see her say this on video, it's here at about 1:25.AM: Did anyone in your inner circle say, "This is not a good idea. Let's not do this"
HRC: You know, I was not thinking a lot when I got in. There was so much work to be done. We had so many problems around the world.
I didn't really stop and think, "What kind of e-mail system will there be?"
AM: Does it raise judgment questions?
HRC: I don't think so. I think that the facts are pretty clear that we had a lot of work, a lot of hard choices to make in those four years.
She wasn't thinking a lot when she came in. There was so much going on.
So it was more "convenient" - with so much work to do and so much going on around the world- to take time away from the job, to take a government employee away from his job, pay him $5000 on the side to set up a system to circumvent government rules than it was to simply let the IT people at State set up her email account?
Bull and Sh*t.
Top Clinton spokesperson Jennifer Palmieri agrees that Hillary doesn't think things through:

She’s stabbed herself in the back to effect voter pity and before that she hit herself in the head with a hammer for the very same reason.
Just read this interview without seeing her ugly face. And then think how critics of Sarah Palin say her comments are “word salad.”
“And I bought my own jet because it was just so much more convenient.”
Her eyes are always demented scary, but she looks as crazy as a peach orchard boar in that photo.
Here’s hoping she used a piece of cutlery she stole from the WH last go around.
I’ve read she might have MS and has had suffered multiple strokes. The cover-up of those facts, if they are true, is worse than the email and Bengazai cover-ups.
Most everyone who works has both a work and personal email address. But you typically keep them separate. And you certainly would if you’re the US Secretary of State.
I didn't really stop and think, "What kind of e-mail system will there be?"
With all this hassle and so many problems, do you think it's logical that you'd set-up your own server and off-the-books email system? This isn't close to passing the sniff test.
Also, Andrea, why didn't you ask about the 33,000 emails that were deleted?
She was REQUIRED to use a .gov e-mail.
Hillary for Prison 2016
Rush nailed it the other day, she was thinking too much. She went way out of her way to do this whole private server setup to avoid anyone else having access.
She’s lying through her teeth, but she is not as good at it as Bill is.
Go back to the 90’s. Didn’t Bill say the same thing? There is just so much work to be done for the American people. He couldn’t be bothered with a sexual discrimination case or answering for perjury. He was just too busy.
So - if she’s such an IT ignoramus, as she pretends to be, whose advice did she solicit regarding the set-up of her email? With all the attention nowadays being paid to cyber-security, cyber-warfare, other IT issues like net-neutrality, privacy, etc. shouldn’t an aspirant for the Presidency have the good sense to consult someone who has a handle on these issues?
Bingo. And most companies would fire you instantly for discussing company business on that personal email account.
That’s what the seal at Seaworld looks like just before you throw him a fish.
I use personal email at work. I’ve forwarded all my work email to my personal email. My employer knows this. I work from work, on the road and at home. Everything is all mixed up, but I’m DB (de boss).
