And, if allowed to emigrate, they will endeavor to set up the same system from which they fled.
I’d let them all on the train.
Then send the train in the opposite direction.
Take the last train to Buda and I’ll meet you at the station.
Imagine, a bunch of Buda pests.
BUMP
I expect a “documentary” film called “Budapest Train Station” sympathetic to the invaders any week
Certainly the Hungarians will not allow them to remain in Hungary. Will the refugees be forced onto trains going in the opposite direction? That would certainly lead to some unpleasantness, and (unfair) comparisons to what the Germans did in WW II.
And suppose the refugees could be forced onto those trains. Couldn't the next country just refuse those trains entry?
This is a terrible mess, and one I'm sorry to say was set in motion by Bush's invasion of Iraq. Unintended consequences, indeed.
You do realize that was a curse.
I always wondered why Obama and Clinton wanted to turn the M.E. on its head - abandoning Iraq, attempted Muslim Brotherhood coup in Egypt, assassination of Kaddaffi, rise of ISIS and promotion of civil war in Syria
Perhaps they were hoping/expecting this massive wave of destabilizing refugees or just more unintended consequences??
But let us not come to the attention of important people, which is the other half of that time-honored curse.
