Certainly the Hungarians will not allow them to remain in Hungary. Will the refugees be forced onto trains going in the opposite direction? That would certainly lead to some unpleasantness, and (unfair) comparisons to what the Germans did in WW II.
And suppose the refugees could be forced onto those trains. Couldn't the next country just refuse those trains entry?
This is a terrible mess, and one I'm sorry to say was set in motion by Bush's invasion of Iraq. Unintended consequences, indeed.
Nah....that's why there are 'turn-arounds' in all train tracks. You just don't tell 'em and speed up the train to 80mph.
muhwahahaha)
How’s obama’s war on Assad working out?
No, just sending them back from where they came. We should try it.
This problem started long before Bush, try Clinton.
I believe this to be a false equivocation. The Iraq war is only an unfortunate distraction. Were these 'refugees' to truly care for their nation, they would stay and fight and work to improve their condition. The sad fact-of-the-matter is, they have found themselves in a social construct that is practicing what it preaches. Their intent is to continue with the exact social/religious construct that created the mess and simply move it to another host. Sounds exactly like a virus.
Hungary is just tired of being the pathway to Europe for these people and considering their history with muslim invaders I don’t blame them one damn bit. If Merkel wants them so bad she should send Lufthansa to the countries of origin to pick them up.
Taking out Sadam Hussein was a terrible mistake.
No, the primary cause is the Obama/Clinton ‘Arab Spring’.
Hard to see how that's the case: the Bush admin was careful to leave Assad in place (lots of George I's people were buddies with the Assads' regime).
Much more to do Obama's assistance in removing Ghaddafi, his support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and -- most of all-- his withdrawal from Iraq.
Or what the Arrow Cross did in Hungary during the war.
