I'm not a Trump supporter, but he's definitely making things fun.

The essence of a successful republic is the distance between we, the people, and the govt.

Under Clinton and Obama, a bottomless chasm developed.

Both of them have no use for we, the people.....they both worship at the Church of Whatever Works for Me.

Just by stepping onto the political stage, Donald Trump has drawn the people closer to their govt...as the Founders intended.

Trump could be the "snap back" from...

The egomania of Obama, to the egomania from Trump.
The best politicians money can buy to a guy that can't be bought.
The centralized power of Wash DC (both parties are complicit) to a populist "mad as hell and I'm not taking it any more" that rings true for many.

That's true of Boehner and McConnell. If nothing else comes out of this election, we have to take this party back from the likes of those two.

Well while I`m a Cruz supporter, I am FAST warming up to Trump. Even Trump/Cruz.

What’s with all the “I’m not a Trump supporter, but . . .”?
Declaring you’re not a Trump supporter reveals your bias at the start.
Lot’s don’t read any further. Some dive right in.
Why not make your point, support with evidence and state your conclusion?
Seems it would make for more informative journalism.
“But Monkeys” as Ms Laura would call them

Do you mean fun as in roller coaster? Or in a Barnum sort of way...

What’s with all the “I’m not a Trump supporter, but . . .”?

Most of the time when I post on a Trump thread, I preface my comments with "I'm not a Trump supporter, but ...." because I'm not a Trump supporter. I don't support anyone in the race yet because (a) there's a long way to go to even the first caucus/primary and (b) anything can happen at this point.

Now, when Trump does something I like/agree with, I post that too. Am I not supposed to do that as a non-Trump supporter? Can I not as a casual observer at this point post anything pro or con about Trump? Or is that now verboten on Trump threads?

Trump is like a red human emergency stop/reset button that has been activated.
Also like a welding torch brightly melting the rigid metal heads in DC and on the dross in the media.

Excellent post and insights-— and I’m a Trump supporter at this juncture but not with blind allegience.

I support Cruz, but I am glad that Trump is in the race. He has taken on the PC-Nazis head on. Trump may be our next President just because so many people love that he is giving the leftist media hell.

Feel free to post what you want - we still have freedom of speech for now. Just be warned - you will get attacked when you post something negative. LOL Trump supporters can be very protective of him. All candidates have their warts, so if you are looking for perfection, you will be mighty disappointed. I was in your shoes a few weeks or so ago - I had 3 or 4 I was watching and then BOOM - Trump just became my candidate of choice. I looked past his warts and heard his message. Here is a billionaire who doesn’t have to be running for office - he doesn’t need the hassles he is taking for wanting to make America great. He doesn’t need the cushy pension offered a politican either - so, that tells me - he really has his heart into changing things. So, take your time - look over the field and hopefully, you will come to the same conclusion I did. If not, then support your candidate with all your heart.

Under Clinton and Obama...

The Bush's weren't exactly prizes either. They just look somewhat better by comparison.

After, the unbelievably stunning disappointment of our republican congress and senate with their very first acts of betrayal on their very first day by keeping Boner and Mitchy the Vichy, I do not trust a single one of them, though I kind of trust Cruz, but not totally. I think there is a possibility that Trump can slash and burn the entrenched cronys and bureacracies, and totally clean house. He may, he may not, but I am damn sure he cannot possibly be worse than what we have now nor any dhimmicrat or the next MSM picked Dole/Bush/McCain/Romney, either of which continues what we have now, the only difference is that f which is how favorable or hostile the media coverage is. even if he accomplishes nothing, that is better than accomplishing the next incremental reduction of freedom, that either the demonrats or the traitorous rinos have in store for us. I am fed up

Why not Trump? He would be historic—he might well get jobs going—he just might fix immigration and Social security? Maybe he will have the white house re-painted Gold and I think our enemies will fear him as a wild cowboy who might do anything. Trump could end the Terrorist war because of his Loose Cannon approach! I think he could get a deal with Putin-—Crazy Republicans seem to work well with Tyrants. He is like a physic to the American body politic—He will clean out the system. Maybe we need him?

Thanks. I really like it that Trump has the balls to stick it right back to the media and not take any crap from them.

It's really too bad that not a single Republican candidate has figured out to follow his lead. Instead, they try to "differntiate" themselves from Trump.

But then, this is why I and so many others here on FR call Republican's the "Stupid Party."

That's exactly what they are.
