Stating facts isn't posting a "hit piece" or "slamming" or "attacking" or whatever spin someone may put on it [like deflecting from the facts with put-downs and insults toward the poster or another candidate].

The facts are the facts. What Donald Trump says he plans to do needs to be judged and evaluated by what he has done.

Discuss Donald Trump's history. If you do, there is no way this man could be considered to be the champion of conservatives and conservative causes.

Every other candidate has been vetted - sliced, diced and had the light of truth shown on them.

June 16, 2015:

“Donald Trump jumped into the crowded and rowdy Republican presidential field on Tuesday, but the business magnate has astutely played both sides of the aisle for years, and has been especially cozy — financially and personally — with Hillary Clinton.

Clinton, the Democratic front-runner and former New York senator who had some say over policy that could have impacted Trump’s vast business dealings, received donations from both him and son Donald Trump Jr. on separate occasions in 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007, according to state and federal disclosure records.

Trump has also been generous with the Clinton Foundation, donating at least $100,000, according to the non-profit.

.......She wasn’t the only Democratic beneficiary of Trump’s wealth. Trump donated $5,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and $20,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in the 2006 cycle, effectively buoying the election prospects of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, respectively...

“So, what am I going to do, contribute to Republicans? Am I going to contribute to, I mean, one thing I’m not stupid. Am I going to contribute to a Republican for my whole life when they get, they run against some Democrat. And the most they can get is one percent of the vote,” he said, noting his “good relationship” with and donations to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). Trump last donated to Schumer directly in 2010, though he had made donations ranging from $250 to $2,000 since 1996.

“I mean, I’ve contributed to Schumer, I contribute — I’ve known Schumer for many, many years. And I have a good relationship with him. The fact is, that I think it is time maybe that we all do get along,” he told Hannity....

Well, I am pretty dang sure he isn’t donating any money to democrats now, and now is what matters — or so I was told ad nauseum, last presidential election, when questioning Mitt Romney’s liberal record, not to mention the fact that Obamacare was Romneycare before it ever was Obamacare!

He does live in New York and has said he donates to both sides of the aisle and he does. I don’t see his contributions to Rick Perry, or the $10,000 given to Ron Paul’s charity. Nor is his donations to Mike Huckabee listed. I think he also gave to Chris Christie. He is/was a businessman and told the truth - he gave to get favors from candidates. It’s just the way it’s done in business. He also donated to Romney - where’s that figure?

As most Trump supporters and they will answer very simply: So What.

People are going to have to come up with something a lot more damning to tarnish Trump. He's a known commodity, everyone knows him, his history, his positions, which he is even now further clarify, etc. His character, blunt honesty, and love of America is what counts. Seriously, he could have donated to Obama for all I care. Won't change my view of him today, nor my support of him today.

Suggestion: Deal with and focus on today, not yesterday. You'll be happier too.

He’s been a real estate, television, casino and golf tycoon in mostly Democratic localities. Of course he gave money to both Democrats and Republicans. I’ll bet he knows some folks from Sicily that have to be consulted before any work gets done. He doesn’t live in a dream world where everyone gets 60% off at Kohl’s. LOL

I understand you have a dog in this fight it’s not personal

Not to me anyhow I’m just enjoying the show

But be vigilant

Remember Pissant

He did to Palin who never ran anyhow despite the blood shed here for her what you’re doing to Trump on behalf of Walker I think

Fair enough....Trump is a very flawed but damned fun candidate

I get up everyday eager to see how he’s bullied the VICHY GOP or the media

I’m ambivalent but tuned in

But for you....don’t get too eager....or mean to the wrong folks

Pissant did the tuna breath Bachman and Palin joke and got zotted forever but I think he’d been warned......

I’d rather not see that happen to you

Trump implodes and folks will come back to your way of thinking

You never know

I think the main attraction is Trump fights and says stuff we all feel but the rest fear saying sort of

Do I or any other posters think he’s a doctrinaire consevative

A big NO

But I think he would listen to his electorate and loves America and is not an elitist despite being pretty rich

He’s so interesting to watch and he laughs at himself

Not to mention a very hot mommy First Lady

And first daughters that are scorching

It could be worse

in 2008 the Tea Party movement was born...did Trump donate to any Tea Party org? Tea Party backed candidate? Looks like Democrats were his go to political party to give too.

In NYC how do you stay in business? You pay protection money. He did exactly what every other single business person has done.

AND he admits to it!

Probably every smart business person donates to both parties. They never know when they just might need them in business. I know business people here do. There is a saying around here, “be nice to people on the way up because you just might meet them on the way down.” This just shows his business smarts.

Of course Trump has contributed to many Dems. He has switched parties at least 5 five times in 30 years and has only been a Republican since 2009 (and possibly only until 2011). He is a new and singularly unique kind of politician.

So what?

Donald Trump has already said that he contributed to politicians of both parties. He said he had to do it for business reasons. I totally understand that because politicians in either party can cause his businesses all sorts of problems. Donald Trump contributed to BOTH John Kerrey and Bush in 2004. Is that the sign of a diehard Democratic partisan?

In addition, the GOPe has no problems torpedoing Tea Party, Evangelical, and Constitutional Conservative Senate candidates. Why should everyone get in a tizzy because Donald Trump made some poitical contributions?

And GOPe RINOs are not better than Democrats. For instance, in Illinois, Tammy Duckworth will be a much better senator (especially with veterans’ issues) than RINO and Lindsey Graham pal Mark Kirk.

This isn’t necessarily true. Those who have been vetted have a political history which we can draw upon. Look, I understand your passion for your candidate, but to keep posting anti-Trump articles isn’t going to change minds for people to stop supporting him and get on the Walker wagon. This is a high school type of activity. I don’t think you have said anything to get zotted for, but, your constant anti-Trump articles are annoying. If Walker should somehow get the nomination, I’d have no problem voting for him - we need to defeat the Democrats, Right now, this isn’t feasible.

Any business man with a quarter of a brain pays the mafia protection money to be left alone, including the democrats of the U.S. government, the most ruthless of all.

Very interesting post. The good news is that Donald Trump has told us all of this himself, and explained it as a business deal. He has also explained that, as of now, his business is restoring America's greatness. The Fox News "Debate" was a serious attempt to destroy him as a candidate. The Establishment (R & D) are really afraid of him. I am glad he has what looks to be really good security. Take a look at Trump Gives a Glimpse of the Golden Arrow Targeted Toward McConnell/Donohue’s Achilles Heel... to see are really good analysis on how we were going to get screwed again before Trump entered the race. The defense to the Establishment plan only works if Trump wins the nomination.

CW, the normal political calculus doesn't apply here. It's failed us badly with both political parties out of control. Add to that a judiciary that overturns every nation-saving initiative that's passed, and it's a recipe for the end of any hope for the US to recover.

The only thing that can save us now is a flame-thrower with no agenda except to save the US. Someone who isn't bought, scripted and programmed. It's beyond issues or casting suspicion. It's about where Trump's heart and mind are now. No other candidate is a force of nature except Trump.

I personally like Trump's ego and old-time USA blustery ego, confidence, and humor. I suspect it will make him the best US President ever. That's because he would want to go down in history books as the best US President ever, our savior. The rest of the pols, quite bluntly, only want to go down for whomever bought them off.

Walker and the others aren't even on the same playing field of being able to single-handedly turn the US around.
