If you live in or near a nuclear target area then learn when to evacuate.
The nuclear targets map shown bellow is based on a number of factors like military installations, nuclear weapons storage and silo locations, bases, cities, etc.. No doubt there are not all of them, as well as other probable strategic locations, but it’s simply food-for-thought.
The primary targets will likely be military installations, while a secondary wave will broaden in scope. A third wave would likely involve strategic bombers mopping up what’s left and probably big cities. The first and second wave could be all over in minutes to an hour.

Isle Royale in Lake Superior looks like a winner, but I would stay on top of the hill in case there way a blast generated wave from Duluth/Superior.
Actually, Jarbone, Nevada has traditionally been the most distant place in the Lower 48 from effect of nuclear blast to be exact.
I suggest very strongly that everyone who can, buy land from me that I own there in considerable quantity.
If an EMP would take us back to the Stone Age, why waste resources?
Just set one off about 300 miles up and let nature take its course. No messy radiation to deal with.

All the while, warnings from Russia to get ready for their nukes are ignored by the majority of north americans. After years of provocation, the toppling od the democratically elected president of Ukraine and a push to topple Moscow, Russia is ready to move. There is a coup at the top out of frustration that the leadership is too fat and happy and corrupt to stop the moslem takeover of white Russia and there is the fear that the new world order that now owns the USA will take Russia. Our top 100 metro areas get nuked. Russia has hacked the white house, the pentagon and every government office worth worrying about. They know what we are going to do before we do. The next war will be sort of a rolling ww3 with the media playing down the seriousness of anything. The final blow for the usa is starvation and winter weather.
Check out the army, navy and air force bases installed in the arctic by the Russians. They have also built 5000 new shelters in Moscow alone since 2012. But who cares when we live in a diverse and socially progressive country with wonderful welfare benefits, free college tuition for anyone except white citizens and free healthcare for any one who can apply online?

We will get hit on both coasts with slightly off shore ship nukes way before that map would happen, and for sure our area is among the first strike areas.
Then the Yosemite super volcano blows and it’s over for North America anyway.
