I agree with Trump..McCain failed to win POTUS[or was told to run and followed orders] and now he's teflon..NFW!
The line to get into the “I despise John McCain” fan club starts with me...but what Trump said was unnecessary. It’s all downside with nothing to gain.
McCain must apologize!
Thousands of veterans were in Trumps audience as supporters at the Phoenix venue and on nationwide television.
McCain called thousands of U.S. Veterans mentally ill “Crazies”.
Sure beats the tried and true method we on the right use way too much of letting the GOPe bash us and then whining like wimps online.
Which gained us nothing.
McCain wanted to slap, Trump socked him right in the jaw. If conservatives want some respect, then THEY need to stop doing what we accuse the GOPe of doing and take off the gloves.
In principle I totally agree that conservatives need to be more confrontational with those who craft false narratives against them, but in practice I don’t know if THIS particular instance is the way to get respect.
There’s something to be said about picking battles.
If they bring a knife, we bring a loaded gun!
Hey I would not have gone there myself but I watched what Trump really said and its a nothing burger. If he had said anything really bad he would have gotten booed from the audience. He did not and in fact got a standing Ovation when he left the stage which should tell you everything you need to know about it. Its a tempest in a teapot.
Trump needs to just move on and quit talking about it and the whole thing will die down in a couple of days.
Yep....he’ll move to next issue as long as Fox news lets it go. Majority of Fox and basically all the other GOP candidates are putting full-court press on Trump to cut him back to size...that is not going to happen. If anything, this attention gives Trump more publicity and legitimizes his campaign.......which is what he’s looking for. All the while, Dems sit-back and laugh at whole situation thinking they have 2016 in the bag.
