Over a million people changed their facebook profile pictures to a rainbow filter in support of gay marriage.
New reports reveal that the “Celebrate Pride” tool may not have been the best idea…
According to Daily Mail, this tool was actually Facebook’s way of performing psychological testing on their users.
Cesar Hidalgo wrote on Facebook yesterday. “The question is, how long will it take for people to change their profile pictures back to normal.”

Facebook does plenty of psychological tracking and testing on its users.
They correlate things you “like” to create psychological profiles, and which pages you cruise, and even collect things you type but don’t post.

it also allows provides a useful tool for conservative facebook users to identify in-your-face gay-loving liberals and de-friend them. My friend lists must have already been well-scrubbed. I didn't see a single instance of this show up.
