Apple Pulls All Civil War Games Over Confederate Flag Controversy

In a bold move against reason, Apple has apparently removed all civil war games from their App Store over the display of the Confederate flag within the games. This is just the latest in a series of absurd moves taken by corporations following the national debate and eventual decision by South Carolina to remove the flag from the South Carolina capitol grounds.

Apple's Tim Cook Tweeted on Sunday of this week: "My thoughts are with the victim's families in SC. Let us honor their lives by eradicating racism & removing the symbols & words that feed it." Apparently he truly meant eradicated, as any game or app that features a Confederate flag has been pulled, "regardless of context"

Imagine my surprise on Duck Duck Go when a search of "Confederate Flag" brought up ZERO images. It's been purged. However, a search for "Confederate Battle Flag" has NOT been purged. Even Duck Duck Go is not immune from PC idiocy and the taint of Liberal mental illness.

You know I am a stalwart defender and supporter of Apple. I was not thrilled when they named Tim Cook CEO, but I thought, “Hey, live and let live.” Then he started to identify by his lifestyle and make “gay based” policy and statements. Now this. I will not be a knee-jerk “never gonna by Apple again” person, but I am looking at selling my stock and only buying what I need to run my company in the future. This isn’t liberalism on Apple’s part, this is left-wing fascism.

Apple's Official statement on this:

"We have removed apps from the App Store that use the Confederate flag in offensive or mean-spirited ways, which is in violation of our guidelines. We are not removing apps that display the Confederate flag for educational or historical uses."
