We need experienced SharePoint developers in both Norfolk, VA and Alexandria, VA. Salary is negotiable.

Position Summary: The Web/Database Developer works with the current SharePoint development team to create custom SharePoint solutions for military and/or government civilian customers. The position is responsible for configuring the SharePoint 2007/2010 infrastructure and developing required applications including forms and workflows.

Essential Job Functions:
• Design, manage, and deploy SharePoint 2007/2010 solutions, applications, site collections, sites, web parts, features, themes, navigation and master pages
• Develop custom multi-step, multi-functional conditional workflows using SharePoint Designer and Visual Basic
• Design, develop, and implement electronic (InfoPath) forms and workflows to improve business processes
• Assist with the installation and testing of software installation, patching and testing
• Gather customer requirements, manage projects and prepare technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with DOD software system configuration management policies
• Create and maintain solutions utilizing SharePoint 2007/2010 integrated with Office applications utilizing secondary data sources
• Monitor application performance and take corrective action as required
• Provide documentation and training to customers on portal functionality and custom solutions
• Develop basic graphics, as necessary, for site design and functionality

Experience:
• 3+ years of SharePoint development and customization working with SharePoint Object Model using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.
• Must be able to install, integrate configure and manage the SharePoint software products listed below.
• Possess strong Microsoft platform knowledge and skills

Required Skills:
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills
• Knowledgeable of SharePoint capabilities
• Languages: C#, JavaScript, CSS, XML, CAML, HTML, JQuery, SharePoint Object Model
• Development Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft InfoPath
• Software Products: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007/2010

Preferred Skills:
• Languages: ASP.NET, XSLT
• Development Tools: Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft Visual Studio
• Software Products: Microsoft IIS Web Server, Microsoft Enterprise Server 2008

Education:
• Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• CompTIA Security + certification required

Clearance:
• Secret Security clearance required

Also, how is an increase in H1Bs going to help you find a candidate for this position? It requires a secret clearance. You know that you have to have citizenship to get a clearance, right?
