Ian Reisner, one of the two gay hoteliers facing boycott calls for hosting an event for Senator Ted Cruz, who is adamantly opposed to gay marriage, apologized to the gay community for showing “poor judgment.”
Mr. Reisner put the apology on Facebook, where a page calling for a boycott of his properties, the gay-friendly OUT NYC hotel and his Fire Island Pines holdings, had gotten more than 8,200 “likes” by Sunday evening.
“I am shaken to my bones by the e-mails, texts, postings and phone calls of the past few days. I made a terrible mistake,” wrote Mr. Reisner.
The New York Times first reported on the event, a dinner and “fireside chat” on April 20, at the duplex Mr. Reisner and his business partner Mati Weiderpass co-own on Central Park South in Manhattan.
The two men are prominent figures in the gay rights community, and Mr. Reisner has been especially vocal about gay marriage. He’s also a staunch supporter of Israel, as is Mr. Cruz....

Once again, we see that there is a strong totalitarian streak within the homosexual “rights” community. Apparently homosexuals are not allowed to talk to, much less do any business with, someone who is not a staunch supporter of homosexual marriage and liberal homosexual positions on issues.

Cruz is for freedom as described in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
These queers think that the right to hump our boyfriend or a girl humping another girl are far more important than protecting our rights under both God’s law and the Constitution.

That’s funny! I misread the headline and assumed Ted Cruz was apologizing to his supporters for schmoozing with a bunch of perverts.
I’m getting confused about the hate crime thing. So, is it a hate crime to believe that homosexuality is wrong? Or is it a hate crime to eat with someone who is accused of a hate crime? Or is it a hate crime to hate someone who is believed to have committed a hate crime by eating with someone who is believed to have committed a hate crime? Do all the hate crimes even out, or is one a worse hate crime that the other?
