The aging flatulence in me wishes the twerps would just shut up and act for their audiences, and leave the rest of us alone.

I always knew I would get old, but I always hoped I wouldn’t get grumpy. It becomes more difficult by the day.

What would america be like if blacks weren’t so incredibly violent and constantly playing the victim and race cards?

She's racist. Where does she think cornrows come from?

Yes. White people.

White musicians have been “appropriating” black music for decades.
By the same token, James Brown was a huge fan of country music, he called it "the White man's blues".

I guess blacks will stop straightening their hair, dyeing their hair, and having surgeries on their noses, to look “more white” then. Perhaps they wil all stop wearing european style clothing, so no more sneakers, jeans, pants, and basebalcaps. That is apropriation of non-african cultural norms.

Oh sure, like blacks using indoor toilets.

It’s all Bo Derek’s fault!

LOL! She's the first person to come to mind when I think of cornrows.

Amazing. Rock, country music, classical music, and opera is racist, and if white people listen to any other music it is expropriation of the culture of oppressed peoples.

I listed to metal, and as a result I have been at times called a white supremacist (when half the members of the band Suffocation is black).

Ghetto culture - pants on the ground and bling, was completely appropriated from String Bean on Hee Haw.

Stringbean - Cripple Creek (Opry 1950's)

So blacks can’t pull up their pants because they think it would be against whites and “culture appropriation”? Gee. Never knew.

So this ditz has a problem with Whites emulating Blacks? Insinuating that if Whites wea their hair like Blacks and have a taste for “Black foods”, watermelon, fried chicken, etc. it’s somehow racist? OK, then if she eats bagels, matzohs, blintzes, macaroons, etc. can I call her anti-Semetic? Hey, Amandla, listen up, kiddo, no matter how empowered it makes you feel, getting offended for the sake of getting offended is no way to go through life.

Exactly my point. Musicians borrow from each other all the time and have been for decades.

White musicians have been “appropriating” black music for decades. From Elvis to Led Zeppelin to Eminem. This is nothing new.

That may be true, but "black" music didn't come into being from scratch. The inventors of the blues used "white" music and "white" instruments, made an adjustment and created their own variation (blues). Then white people took that variation, used it, tweaked it and made their own variation (hard rock). And on and on back and forth. That's the way civilizations work. That's also why the blues could only have been invented in the USA. Africans didn't play guitars. Nobody gets to claim to be the originator of anything in this world, except God.

As an American of Italian descent I protest EVERY black gangster film ever made, especially New Jack City, and I also protest Empire, which is clearly a poor man’s Godfather. What an idiot she is. Do blacks do ANYTHIG besides cry anymore. Like John Turturro said in State of Grace, “I thought you west side boys were so tough”. Turns out they are just crybabies. Great movie by the way :)

But isn’t String Bean’s banjo based on an African instrument?

And the blacks can give up riding in cars, trains and planes. Stop watching TV, playing stereos, using electricity and all computers, tablets and phones.
