Hillary? Rand Paul? Ted Cruz? Marco Rubio?
Four major candidates have stepped forward to run for the Democratic and Republican nominations for president, and a few more are sure to follow soon.
Their entrances into the race couldnt be more different. Republicans Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz went the more traditional route with kickoff events. Hillary Rodham Clinton went big on social with a much anticipated video and tweet combination, but is keeping events low-key to start except for a Monday evening visit to Chipotle.
So whos winning the media battle at this very early stage? Take our poll below or tweet at @PRWeekUS to have your say.
Poll
Which early presidential candidate is winning in the media?
Hillary Clinton: Her announcement made the biggest splash. And look at the coverage shes getting just for stopping by Chipotle.
Ted Cruz: A traditional entry to the race to be sure, but he understands his partys base.
Rand Paul: Hes much more social media savvy than his rivals for the GOP nod.
Marco Rubio: Hes the only candidate to clearly differentiate himself from the pack with his youthful message.

If Cruz pulls out in front, they will try to destroy him. (All those you mentioned.)
How do you propose he win the Presidency if he doesn't pull out front at some point?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
"whos winning the media battle?" The media will not permit Fat Bottom Rodham to fail.

He WILL pull out in front, because the other candidates aren’t worth anything, so obviously, Cruz will have to deal with them.

I completely disagree. Here's why: many Democrats in private detest Hillary Clinton, saying that she her success was riding on the coattails of her much-beloved husband. Even many in the MSM are skeptical of her, too.

“Who cares what they groupthink?
If Cruz pulls out in front, they will try to destroy him
They are the enemy.”
Exactly. The MSM will always say the democrat candidate is winning. And they will be the softest on our most liberal Republican or the one that can’t beat the democrat candidate.
They’ll treat a strong conservative with scorn and contempt. We have to use alternative methods to get our message out.

It’s unbelievable.
In any rational world, Hillary would be hooted off the stage based on her decades of crime, corruption, and cronyism.
Instead she’s looking like the favorite of the journ-0-lists.

I wonder if this is because the media behind the scenes people want their first homosexual candidate. (see NYT, WSJ news, Bloomberg, any news agency reporting through NYC)
