The 'Herman Caining' of Ted Cruz: Believes criticism of senator's wife began with 'Rove-Priebus'
WorldNetDaily ^ | April 6, 2015 | Mychal Massie

The “Herman Caining” of conservative presidential candidate Ted Cruz has begun. And first out of the attack gates are half-truths and no truth about his wife and her professional career.

Tuesday, March 24, during an on-air interview on “The Manning Report,” the host, my good friend Dr. James David Manning, quizzed me pursuant to a Ted Cruz candidacy. My response was that we could expect in the very near future negative stories to start surfacing about not just Ted Cruz, but also his wife. I could not have been more prescient.

The attack centers on Mrs. Cruz’s involvement in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and her alleged role in crafting a CFR document espousing North American unity. This attack is designed to be red meat to those who see the New World Order in juice glasses.

I cannot prove it – yet – but every fiber of my political being says this has Karl Rove’s and Reince Priebus’ fingerprints all over it. Rove and Priebus are committed to dragging Jeb Bush to the Republican presidential nomination on a three-wheel dolly if that’s what it takes.

That said, there is no scenario by which they are going to allow Ted Cruz to gain traction if they can help it. Their Erebusic strategy is well-written, well-rehearsed and it has been hugely successful, because the one thing Republican voters have proven capable of doing better than any other political group is throwing the best candidates under the bus.

The Rove-Priebus modus operandi is to destroy any candidate they deem a threat to the Republican establishment if said candidates are permitted to gain office....

I don’t care what they do or say .. it will never change my mind. Ted Cruz “was born for such a time as this”.

The more I hear him speak, the more convinced I become. His first TV add just blew me away .. it was 10 times more bold that I expected it to be.

It’s time we let Priebus and Rove know we are on to them, and we’re not going to let them get away with this little scheme.

Actually, announcing early was a perfect set up - this way Cruz gets to set the agenda and let the public know what he’s for and what he’s not .. and now the rest of them are whining because they didn’t get to set the agenda. BooHoo!

Snooooze .. you lose

I am not the only one concerned with Cruz wanting to legalize 20 million-plus illegal aliens. Though he says he doesn’t advocate giving them citizenship, citizenship would be inevitable and chain migration would triple their number to 60 million-plus new, overwhelmingly Leftist, as well as majority low-skill, welfare-taking immigrants. That would inevitably lead to the country never having another even vaguely-conservative president or congressional majority.

The problem is that by talking tough on illegal immigration while quietly supporting legalization, Cruz keeps the majority of Freepers or Republicans from realizing his poisonous position on the issue to end all political issues.

Rush said it today.

The left believes their own press. This is why they think they have the majority on their side.

The sad part; most of the GOP-E also believe they have the majority on their side.

But .. now we have a person who doesn’t believe it and plainly say he doesn’t believe it .. and proves by his statements that he KNOWS WHAT HE BELIEVES. And, I find that refreshing and I’m so tired of the go along to get along crowd. I think most of America is too.

Where do you get: George Bush 5,000 votes ..??????

In the 2000 election, George Bush won by over 1500 votes (after a contested election which the left tried to steal).

In the 2004 election, George Bush won by over 4 MILLION VOTES. Why else do you think Obama has been bringing in more and more illegals ..?? HE HAS TO HAVE MORE THAN 4 MILLION VOTES TO WIN AN ELECTION - UNLESS THE BASE STAYS HOME.

I can’t believe nobody has figured that out yet.

Why would you want to do that ..??????

Neither she nor her husband is a member of Congress .. so I don’t see the relationship to any expense account purchases.

There is a whole heap of assumptions built into your argument.

I'll keep sending Cruz money and volunteering to support him. You do what you feel like you have to do.

“if she’s CFR, then that’s a fact that needs to be made public.”

Nope. If she is not running it simply does not matter.
I am consistent with this.
Leave the Bush kids alone
Let Betty Ford be a drunk
Let Nancy Reagan consult astrologers
Let Michelle Obama plant a garden
Let Hillabitch Clintdog mutter about hearing Elanor Roosevelt

They are not elected, it doesn’t matter unless they do then run for office.

Cruzes wife, Palin’s husband, Christies’ wife, Liawatha’s husband leave them out of the campaign and focus on the candidates

Pretty much. Too many “holding your nose and voting” for creeps like John McCain is not good for anyone’s health. Enough of that already.

Is it a problem? Nope.

Um, you don’t recall the controversy over her spending habits when Bush was the Governor of Florida?

Or do you just think that, in the context of the Bushes going after Heidi Cruz, it isn’t relevant?

Look, I don’t live in Florida - why would I be focusing on some Governor’s wife ..?

And, the comment appeared to say that OUR Congress should be forcing a former Governor’s wife to do something; and that something was to present to CONGRESS her expenses ..??

I still don’t see any reason why that’s even relevant to any responsibility of Congress.

So before you go around blaming people for this and that .. go back AND READ ALLLLLLLLL OF THE THREAD. This way, you might have some context as to what I said, and the post I commented on.

This was the first issue Ronald Reagan brought forward in his 1979 campaign announcement: a united North America.

Yes, but first and foremost he’s a rino in the US Chamber’s pocket. Remember who he worked for and supported him for the RNC chairmanship, haley barbour.
