What I find most interesting is traitor Bowe has yet to see mom and dad.

I think that maybe, just maybe, he may have ended up regretting the hippy dippy crap that his parents poured down his throat. The same crap that lead him believe that all that matters is intentions and that the Taliban “just needed someone to give them a hug.” So, when he found out that the military wasn’t going to fulfill his needs, he figured that maybe the Taliban would just be oh so grateful for his good intentions.
