Christian websites are reporting that Lubitz was a recent convert to Islam.
At this point that should read "speculating" rather than reporting. The website he links to is an obscure one and so far they don't appear to have any real evidence. That may change, but at this point, it's only a rumor.

I agree. My first thoughts were who besides a Muslim would fly a plane into a stationary Mountain killing himself plus another 150 with him? I then thought about planes flying into buildings(WTC)with people on board. Muslim.
