Global Warming Is Anti-Science
Briggs' blog ^ | 03/25/2015 | William M Briggs

Posted on 03/25/2015 9:46:31 AM PDT by hauerf

It is not anti-science to say that humans influence the climate, because, of course, humans, and every other species on the planet, influences the climate. At the least, humans move through the atmosphere, which influences it and hence the climate. Only a science denier would deny this.

It is an semi-open question how much humans, and each other species, influences the climate. What is not an open question, indeed it is a question as closed as can be, that the global-warming-of-doom promised by organizations like the IPCC has failed to materialize in the ways these groups have promised. Only science deniers deny this.

We know the IPCC (and etc.) is wrong because the warming they have swore would happen did not happen. We know that the models on which the IPCC relies did not perform these past two decades as well as a simple "model" stating that next year will be like this year. Climate models have no skill.

A typical astute assessment by Briggs. This one is so straightforward a politician, even Barack Obama, could understand it if he could find somebody to read it to him.

Are you a Climate Denier, or a Climate Liar?

I don't listen to Gruber Warmists.

The Globe “IS” Warming in some places..... AND...
Cooling in other places... in cyclic timing..

FROM DAY ONE.. till now.. it’s called WEATHER...

Humans have completely NO PART IN IT... None..
Sometimes warmer even HOT, sometimes cooler even COLD...

Making this process POLITICAL is a scam.. a TRICK.. a magic ACT..
for profit to political magicians.. sooth-sayers.. pick-pockets..

THIEVES... stealing ideas and inserting other ideas into the minds of FOOLS.. (BEWARE)...

I very much enjoy learning about subjects like “global warming.” Looking back through Earth’s temperature history is interesting. Look, for instance, at page 244 of the (Open to all, very easy to get around on-line) book at http://sunsetridgemsbiology.wikispaces.com/file/view/Darwins+Ghost.pdf

He said recently, “It is a lie to say that global warming poses no danger”.

Global warming does pose a danger at some point. "Man made" global warming is a factor in climate change.

A very, very, small factor. and not necessarily a negative factor.

If you live in California, land of the Bozo Governor Jerry Brown, this is important business. Gov. Jerry is hoping if not praying for a massive California drought in order to impose more rules, more regulations, more taxes, more Jerry Brown all in the name of saving the planet.

So I pray that we will get a record rainfall one of these years to put a damper on that stupid idea. Of course, if we did, Gov. Jerry would probably blame that on Man Made Climate Change (MMCC) and move right along with the same program.

Here's what I have from page 244 (see prior post) ....

Ice is the commonest rock in the solar system, but Earth is the sole planet upon which it exists in consort with water itsel£ The balance of the two has waxed and waned, with rapid swings between ice ages over the past three million years. Great waves of cold are not common. Bouts of glaciation hit seven hundred million years ago, and five hundred million years later, but for most of the time the world has been warmer than today. It has cooled for a hundred million years. When the last long winter began, northern Alaska had ferns and lush forests of ginkgo, and the banks of the Thames were covered by a subtropical forest, with crocodiles and turtles in its waters

Your source, please.

Brown might be a Democrat, but he's a good one. Democrats are not all bad.

“Brown might be a Democrat, but he’s a good one. Democrats are not all bad.”

You must mean Brown is good aside from a megalomaniac fluke here and there like being father of the Browndoggle high speed (well not really high speed) rail line from nowhere to another nowhere when the roughly $100 billion being burned there would be FAR better spent on desalination plants up and down the California coast. Unfortunately his silly vanity project will undoubtedly continue.
