I’m lost, what’s the difference between the White House and Valerie Jarrett?

You have to admit that it’s kind of fun to watch the left battle it out with themselves. Doing as such requires one to suspend being outraged by anything they say or being concerned about the direction they intend to take the nation. Still it can be fun to watch them.

I agree that Hillary can lose the White House on her own, without help from the White House. However it appears that but for Jarrett leaking the email scandal there wouldn’t have been a press conference and no one would have been the wiser about what she did as Secretary of State.

Not specifically, but you also have to recognize that the passage of years and situation with respect to the power of the Clintons is something one might consider in their accounts.

If you read Calabrese’s account where he did tell both sides of the story from interviews with more than one person, you can get a sense of what really went on. Whether there an actual letter of firing or a coerced resignation is probably something we’ll not find out.

Regardless, there was more than one person on that staff that didn’t think what she did was ethical - even to the point of lying.

Out of a whole bunch of stupid moves, this will probably be Obama's dumbest. I think the veil will now be lifted on how criminal Obama's administration is if the Clinton's believe Obama has had a hand in this.

I hope you are right.
But I doubt it will mean much. There are too many dumbed down people in this country. People who blindly follow party, or party slogans and mantras, or those "addicted" to the freebies.

Hoover was preceded by the most conservative President of the 20th Century: Calvin Coolidge. Surely you don’t believe Coolidge set Hoover up for failure do you? Hoover’s error is that he didn’t allow the stock market collapse in 1929 play itself out with a short recession or depression. Instead he increased taxes and increased spending. In doing so he prolonged what should have been a short economic correction into a depression that lasted over a decade. Of course, FDR did plenty to prolong the depression as well. But Hoover could have made sure there wasn’t a depression in the first place.

I think Obama hates the Republicans so much that he would rather Hillary get elected than a Republican. I don’t think Obama really believes things are going to collapse, I think he believes the next President is going to reap the positive benefits of his work. Because of that he wants a progressive in the White House to take advantage.

I don’t see Michelle running for President. She has no political experience and from all accounts hates living in the White House. I think Mrs. Obama will do remarkably little after her husband is replaced Jan. 20, 2017. She strikes me as someone who would rather vacation and live off of someone else than someone who is willing to put the work in to get elected President. There is nothing about Mrs. Obama’s history that suggests she’s put in much work for anything.

You missed my point.

When things go bad, it’s the President in power and his party that usually take the big hit. Hoover was in power during the start of the Depression, he and the Republicans got crushed in the ‘32 elections and the Democrats were able to do whatever they pleased (aka The New Deal) starting in 1933.

Who was it (a Dem Senator I think) who said of the legislative juggernaut of FDR’s first hundred days: “We just saluted as the bills flew by” ... ?

Sure, there’s no way that Silent Cal set Hoover up for the fall. But that doesn’t mean that people (like Obama and his team) didn’t learn good lessons in cause, effect and timing from it.

I’m not sure I buy the notion that Obama believes his policies will cause some sort of collapse. I think he’s a true believer who is convinced his policies are good for the country. He wants a progressive in the White House when he leaves to continue forward with the policies he believes are good. That would explain why he wants Clinton, whom he hates, out of the way. He views Hillary as a left of center pragmatist who will cave to Republicans like Obama believes Bill did. Obama wants his policies extended, not watered down. Beyond that if Obama really thought his policies were going to be a disaster for the next President he wouldn’t protect Hillary by getting her out of the way.

[I don’t see Michelle running for President.]

First of all, she wouldn’t be running for the office 0 and the Regime would be. As to political experience, how much did 0 have...present...present...present.

She wouldn’t have to sound intelligent on the campaign trail, she would be supplied intellect via 0’s teleprompter and clever little ear devices.

I wouldn’t put to much stock in her utterances of hating being in the White House and the power that goes along with it...she loves that power as much as her (husband) does.

Another point to considered, their base and media would be ecstatic to have her be their candidate and will be more than than happy to overlook any of her stumbling along the campaign trail.

Imo.

"...the FCC Commissioner …"

The Prez can appoint a new committee member as Chair. Former Chairs have left rather than remaining on the board.

I agree that Barack didn’t have much experience but he did manage to get himself elected Senator. The President seems more willing to play the political fundraising game than his wife. Maybe I’m wrong on that but she doesn’t seem engaged in that sort of thing. While the media will be her lap dog, she isn’t going to be able to avoid public speaking. That’s her ultimate downfall. She doesn’t do well unless she’s in front of a black crowd. She’s visibly uncomfortable in front of mostly white audiences. That’s a problem when 70% of voters are white.

"The White House must have an alternative to Hillary."

Barry's people take down HRC. In the meantime "Lunch bucket Joe" drops dead from an aneurysm. Valerie Jarret named VP.

Barry and his party's 2016 problem solved.

Make no mistake though, Obama doesn’t sent Jarrett out to destroy someone like Hillary unless he’s planned his end game.

Doesn't the author realize that Jarrett makes all the calls and not Obozo?

“You have to admit that it’s kind of fun to watch the left battle it out...”

It would be fun if it weren’t so tragic and ominous for the futures of those who watch a larger and larger part of the electorate becoming a proletariat dictator.

(Mr. Marx must be jumping for joy, wherever he may be.)

IMHO
