That’s not necessarily correct. My husband’s father fed our Shorthair a meatball from a Subway sub. We were shocked when 18 hours later the Shorthair vomited the meatball, still whole , unchewed and undigested.

Upon reflection, it was Philo Skinner who was "The Terrier King." Musta been working on Tonya's pit bull.

It take a certain kind of evil to give a dog something they KNOW will kill them..and for what, some stupid dog contest..I have heard how crazy these things can get..these dog owners can spend between 50-100,000 to get their dogs ready for the contest

I have found many animals worth more than people. I’ll die for my animals before most strangers.

The undercover cop did it ... shooting the dog would have been too obvious.

My dog trainer insisted that we train our dogs to food aversion; i.e., the dog would not accept a treat from anyone other than its owner. My dog took it so seriously thatit interfered with his basic training because he interpreted it as never accepting a treat inside the building where he was being trained — meaning that you could not use bits of food in the training. We solved that by using a special ball that he really liked.

Yep....The whole dog show crowd seem a bit strange IMO. Same with those who dress up their little kids attempting to make them fashion models....lol

Someone who would do this, would be capable of all levels evil. No question.

Take care Sarah...

The thing that I dont get, according to the article, the dog who got poisoned came in second..maybe, I can understand in some evil b*tches mind, wanting to harm the dog that came in 1st, but why harm the dog that came in 2nd..either way, I hope they find the bastard that did this and make him/her eat the same kind of poison he/she gave to that dog..I cant imagine someone hurting a dog, I love dogs it breaks my heart

For many years, my Ibizan friends have had to keep people standing guard near the show pens to keep peta from turning their dogs loose.

This started when a sight hound was turned loose and it ran into traffic and was killed.

It is very common for peta minions to do things to dogs at shows.

Maybe the guy that came in 3rd had bet 10k his dog would come in 2nd...The only thing we do know it was a sick nutcake who'd do this.

Ive seen this happen with neighbors who fight over a barking dog. I read a story once about how a neighbor couldn’t stand hearing the neighbors dog barking, so she threw something over the fence, the dog ate it and died..evil is everywhere unfortunately, takes a true sick POS to poison an innocent animal

That happens quite a bit. Neighbors get into it over whatever, and berserko bob the neighbor decides to poison the neighbors dog.

I never heard/read about one, but there are exceptions to every rule-I still would stay as far away as possible from anyone who killed a pet animal out of spite-they are not a
human I want to know...

It is terrible. Some of the behavior I saw at shows was unbelievable. Most people are very nice. But some people... wow.
