"Govts do this because they are afraid of the people thinking. Thinking people become free.
NOW WHERE HAVE WE SEEN THIS BEFORE?
Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose.
SO, what is the connection between the first two pics, and the third?
How about where and when?
Reuters “reported” a book-burning incident in Crimea, in March 2014, almost a YEAR ago, but it was later proven to be false EuroMaidanPR propaganda.
The Russian Book Burning photo in the third pic was actually some Russian Christian Orthodox-types burning the books of a Russian Opposition Party on March 15.
“On March 15, activists from a group called God’s Will entered Yabloko’s Moscow offices and took all the books and brochures displayed near the entrance.
They later publicly burned all the Yabloko materials near a monument to Adam and Eve outside a Moscow metro station, calling Yabloko a party of satanists and perverts.”

So, what meme are you trying to pimp with this?
Yeah, this is anti-Russian propaganda.
Never heard of “Tin Eye”.
That’s cool!
Thanks for the head’s up, it is now saved in my favorites!
Russians haven’t changed much since 1917
Actually the third picture looks to be of a pro-Russian crowd burning books in the Crimea. It has nothing to do with Russian Orthodox burning Yabloko papers in Moscow.
Nazis and Communists, only difference is the uniform.
Russians burning books.. Moscow, crimea... No propagannda: just Truth with a capital ‘T’
you are ABSOLUTELY correct! :)
Yes... U.S. needs to wake up before it’s too late!
I love this quote:
“Books are weapons in the war of ideas.
Books cannot be killed by fire.
People die, but books never die.
No man and no force can put thought in a concentration camp forever.
No man and no force can take from the world the books that embody man’s eternal fight against tyranny, in this war we KNOW books are weapons.”
