OK, that was just a BIZARRE video.
I had a schizoprenic off his meds try to stab my partner with a ballpoint pen once. we fought for 10 minutes to get the pen out of his hand and the cuffs on him. It felt like a century. oh yeah, the guy was 60+ skinny and about 5’8”. adrenaline is a hell of a drug.
Hell, why didn’t you just shoot him....
I’m thinking that is kinda the point of the folks here that are saying “police now are too quick on the trigger”.
I’m kinda disappointed in many of the posts from both sides though.
OK. After watching the video, I’m wondering what in the hell the cops were thinking. 1st cop especially.
Am I surprised she got shot? Heck no, that’s what cops do now. Apparently. I guess handcuffs are an afterthought now?
Of course nothing will happen to the cops because, after all, the 90 lb girl did have a weapon. After all...
Wonder why, after the first cop put her in the chair. And then after she got up, threw her to the ground...why after all that didn’t he think of putting her in cuffs?
Maybe he was just saving her for target practice?
I agree. Not a lot of introspection in some of the posts. A lot of kneejerk, off the cuff reactions.

Most snuff films are bizarre.
Now that we have seen what happened, I’m appalled that anyone is still defending them.
When they had her sitting on the chair or when they threw her to the ground, would have been a lovely time for some handcuffs or zip ties.
Perhaps they had something a bit more “sporting” in mind.
FWIW, if you’ve never been a woman accosted by cops, you have no idea how much some of them enjoy “subduing” you.
Might want to check the statistics of cops and “domestic abuse”, while you’re at it.
I’ve told the story before, but during a traffic stop, I was vigorously groped and dry humped, pinned across the hood of a cruiser by one cop while another had a Mossberg pointed at my head whilst hubby was forced to helplessly watch my laughing molesters.
I was then released and charged with *nothing*.
Perversion and power.
That's what I didn't want to post. The supporters of these cops and snuff films. I still don't want to make the connection. But. If the shoe fits....

It was definitely the antithesis of how to properly handle someone with mental issues.
Unless no one cared about doing such a thing, actually.
She was a really cute young girl.
