Angry liberals have taken to social media to declare that if you like the movie American Sniper over the movie Selma, you are a racist.
The comments have come on the heels of an extremely successful opening weekend for American Sniper, which has received favorable reviews from critics, and has gained considerable buzz for its tense trailer. Selma, which also has received favorable reviews from critics, but also criticism for inaccurately portraying major characters, is not doing nearly as well at the box office.
Liberals on social media have decided that the trailer, controversy, and merit are not why American Sniper is doing better than Selma. Instead, it is a manifestation of a racist nation and racist movie goers.

It’s a shame that people don’t vote at the polls the way they voted at the box office this weekend. Why is there such a disconnect?
I am certified racist according to what happened several months ago.
I was headed to the store near a mall by the interstate and noticed this white car behind me start to behave strangely. I could see that the driver and front passenger were black and the one in the back seat was a fat white woman thing.
To make a long story short I pulled into a store and they followed. I told my GF to go in and warn the owners they might be calling 911.
I got out and this tall lanky young punk black gets out and starts swearing and calling me a racist as he slowly approaches me. I ask him WTF?
He says that the sign on the back of my vehicle that states “10 Out of 10 idiots support 0bama” is racist.
As he started getting closer I reached in my waist band and held my hand on the grip of my 38 S&W and told him that this was not going to end well for you if you come any closer.
He looked at my movements started back peddling called me a pussy mother fuGGER and a racist white pussy again and got in his vehicle and left on the interstate.
Talk about an adrenalin rush.
This in a town with a population of over 13,000 with a total of under 700 blacks! (I live 15 miles out in the country surrounded by 2nd amendment believers..)
Liberals are simply depressed scumbag perverts. Most of them are that way from extensive prozac use. They were assholes who then took prozac to feel good about themselves.
This film is on course to beat Ridley Scott’s Blackhawk Down. Surprising, for a war film. They don’t generally rack up big numbers. Saving Private Ryan was one of the few exceptions.
It's a good thing "Black Hawk Down" didn't come out on MLK weekend.
People, this is the backlash. Whites are getting tired of the race card. I think I'll go see "AS" tomorrow, if I can talk my war movie-hating wife to come along with me.

Me too Sarah....I went yesterday and LOVED it. I wouldn’t see Selma at all....ok maybe if it comes on Netflix...nah. American Sniper was outstanding. I wrote a post on Facebook and got all my friends to go see it....most will or have already. I love the fact that it made 90 million over the weekend and easily will be over 100 million by Monday......So great that it is MLK day. Selma is at about 25 million and they have been pushing it big time.....lol.
